2.5-10x40e Red & Green Illuminated Scope with 20mm Mount

Works great. I use it for a dmr role in airsoft but the laser is great for close range too. All around it is an excellent scope and fits well on a picatinny rail. Although I had to get a raiser for it as I couldn’t see through it with an helmet on. Also it wasn’t as expensive as other options.

Put this on a AR. Install was a no-brainer. The fit on the rail was perfect with the tightening knobs were able to seat and tighten the scope all you need with just your hands. I have about 200 rounds with this scope and here’s what I’ve found. First it’s NOT 2.5 X 10. More like a 1 X 6 as best as I can tell. This is plenty for what I’m using it for but just wanted to get that out there. Next, the control knob for the reticle illumination is really tight. This may work loose over time but it’s difficult to turn. I’ve read from others that the reticle illumination sucks because it lights up the interior of the scope’s tube. This is true, it does however if you’re using correct eye relief it’s not an issue because you don’t see the inside of the tube anyway. Still, they could’ve done better. Now onto the good parts. It holds its zero spot on. At least this far for me. The illumination has enough settings to be effective in all light levels that you would need it for. The laser switch is not located so it’s easy to use with a AR platform but the green laser seems to be especially effective, even in daylight out to about 25 yards or so. I would not buy the red laser. It’s useless in the daylight at any distance. In the dark they are both effective. I can’t speak to how durable it is. I suspect it’s OK on that front but not “ Military” grade. The glass is fine. No complaints there. The scope has a sun visor on the front. Not a fan of that. Would prefer a standard straight cut on the tube. For the money you spend it’s as good as you’ll find and is on par with some of the more expensive scopes. I would consider it again should I need another scope of its type.

Just got this and so far im dang impressed. Scope is compact (much shorter than my bsa 4x32 on my springer) and relatively light weight. I got it to go on a wildfire pcp so it hopefully will fit nicely with that pellet rifles capabilities. Mine came well packaged but no instructions. Batteries were still good but points off for neither the laser or the reticle having polatity indicators. (Yea I guessed wrong both times). I know a little bit about scopes so i was able to figure out all the bells and whistles. My reticle switch is reversed (red turns on the green and vice versa). Came with both mount sizes but i wish they had made rail screw the same thread so you can reuse the nice hefty knobs on the 20mm mount with the 11mm mount. Lens covers are ok. Like that they are bunjee teathered but mine are scratched up a bit. My laser came nearly perfectly zeroed to the crosshairs so nice touch there. Mine does have some paralex but not horrible. While not perfect for the price this is a lot of scope. Time will tell how it does on the rifle. Update. Still 4 stars. This has horribly sbort eye relief. The Benny wildfire has a the rail mounts more forward on the reciever and even with this scope mounted to the absolute rear im still a good 1 to 2 inches shy of a good view. Moving my head forward is awkward but the several dead squirrelz, chipmunks, and starling all rell me that the scope holds well. I ordered a rail extention so that will hopefully give me a more comfortable shooting position. I have a Hatsan AT44 on the way so this scope may move to that rifle instead as the wildfire is really more of a plinker and could probably do with a much simplier scope. I did run into on time when the lighted reticle would not turn on. I thought maybe a dead battery but when I went back latter to change it everything was working fine. It hasnt done that again. Still impressed with what I got.

Love this little scope! And the customer service is above and beyond. At this price point you don't have high expectations. But this little scope works great. I have it mounted to a .300 BLK The optics are clear and crisp even out to around 200 yards. I used my .300 BLK to take a white tail this year, nice 8 point at about 100 yards. The laser is bright but I have to be honest I don't use the laser, the backlighted reticle is clear. The scope has been mounted since 2023 and I haven't had issues with losing zero even after falling in a snow drift and landing on the rifle, and my ass. Sometime during my fall I lost the battery cover. I sent a note to support on the website and asked if I could buy a new cover. I got a response right away and they said they would try to find a replacement in their warehouse. A couple days later the cover arrived in the mail. They didn't charge me for the cover or shipping. I would have happily paid. I highly recommend this scope and CVLIFE in general. They have a solid product at a reasonable price, and FANTASTIC customer service.

***Update*** 2/2/2020 After returning to my range and starting at the 25 yard to verify my zero was still good from the last time, it was off significantly. Almost 7” high and 4” to the right. I hadn’t touched the rifle or the scope since my last range time and it’s been packed away securely. I zeroed it in again using a bench rest and attempted more 3 shot groupings. The groups were tight, but each grouping kept dancing around without any adjustments to the windage or elevation. It’s for this reason I dropped the 5 star rating down to 3. For accurac, it won’t be precision but will get you on target for the most part. ***** I wasn’t sure what to expect for optics in the sub $50 range. I wanted something accurate and that would hold up fairly well for my S&W M&P 15-22 rifle. After reading the reviews on this scope, I decided I would pull the trigger on it and see what it could do. And let me just say that after initial zeroing in on the 25 yard line, I couldn’t be more impressed with its performance! I then went out to 100 yards with it and set up a 3 inch wood block 2x4 on my berm and sprayed it orange. I made that wood block dance on a full magazine. Every shot hit. I then set up a paper silhouette target and at the 100 yard line, I was getting about 2.25” groupings. As far as the laser goes, well it does kind of suck, at least in daytime. It gets lost at the 25 yard line. Can’t say how it performs at night, but honestly I didn’t buy it for the laser. So if that is what you are looking for, it could be a deal breaker. Overall, I’d highly recommend it. It mounted without any issues, zeroed in easily, held groupings and looks good.

Decent little scope for price. I am using it for paintball, even through it is not calibrated so such an application.

After having used this scope twice at outdoor range and then because of zeroing issues, a few DOZWN times at my shorter in home private 10yd range; on an AR 15 w cmmg 22lr adapter (far less force than 556). I found it was actuslly impossible to adjust the elevation AND windage to zero. And in said attempt, using my fingers only to adjust the turrets, BOTH LITERALLY UNTHREADED FROM THE BODY OF THE SCOPE. So I was like f it, I broke it. So I set about completely disassembling the front end from the unit. Firmly grasping the large front tube and turning lefty loosey direction, I was literally able to remove the front half. Which allowed me to look inside the center section where the turrets adjust the zero. I discovered that the reticle optic was actually stuck off center down and to the right when viewed with the laser at right looking from the barrel end of the unit. As opposed to the normal butt end shooting position. At which point I realized that apparently the spring clips for lack of a better term that keep the cross airs on center head. Somehow moved within the housing itself, thus, making it impossible to ever zero the scope. When well, I'm not done investigating the totality of the issue. The fact that my inability to 0 the scope led to actually unscrewing the elevation and windage adjustment knobs themselves accidentally Suggest that whatever brackets are holding that crosshair centered. Cannot handle the concussions of 556 or 223 ammo. Because that's the ammo I used at the range that caused such frustration that I brought it back to my place to try and use twenty two grounds at a shorter distance to zero it in. And I will add that this happened on just one of these specific scopes because I purchased two of them roughly six months apart and both of them demonstrated the same failure to 0 problem after shooting 5562 2:03 AM at the range. It was only after the second one demonstrated the same issues that I said, screw it. I'm gonna dissect this problem and dissect. The scope, which rendered the discovery that the brackets or clips that hold that cross hair section a center point, failed to stay in position. Do not purchase this particular model while it looks great. And is a nice concept. And may perhaps work with air rifles, my experience indicates that 223 and 556 a r fifteen ammo is entirely too much force for this scope to handle for any period of time. And while I don't have a photo or view of the issue at present, if it's possible, at some point to update this review, I will do so. Simply to add more credibility to this rating.. And it kind of sucks. Because, well frankly, it's really aggravating to have to deal with some type of what I consider.Manufacturing flaw, when, at least I believe the description indicates usability with a r fifteen m 0223 or 556.
