This is my second purchase of this memory foam topper as I needed to feel the experience and write the review. Great for an older mattress that's not very saggy but giving a bit of backache and sleepless nights, after airing it for a whole day in the sunshine, there was a mild chemical smell when first unwrapped, but that disappeared after use. Well, what an ingenious design! No more back ache and lovely sleep, it makes the existing mattress so much more comfy. Thank you for producing such a smashing great product really appreciate it. Highly recommend it again and again and again. Just try it and see, I have bought three already and everyone is happy!

Bought a small double and the size received fits my mattress exactly. The reason for not five stars is that I read the reviews and I expected it to smell but boy does it STINK !. When I took it out of the packaging it wasn't too bad and I wondered what all the fuss was about but as it started to air the smell got more intense. Over a week later its still quite noticeable but I have now placed it on the bed. I have slept on it (with an air freshener close by !) and it is very comfortable. It also increases the height of my mattress which is what I wanted. I will buy a decent cover for it to hopefully solve the whiff problem. It is strange that I've had memory foam before, some years ago, but I can't recall it smelling like this.

I have been using this since February, so 5 months now and have enjoyed the extra comfort it brings as well as raising the height of the bed by a small amount that oddly seems to make it a little easier getting in and out of bed.I am about average weight for my height and found the 3 inch depth to be about right for me, if you are heavier though I would certainly recommend using a thicker foam for better support overall, as a rough guide 4 Stone (approx 25Kgs) for each inch of thickness.It did have a bit of a strong odor when I first got it and I left it out in the garden to get some air to it which got rid of the worst of the odor which after a couple of weeks eventually faded to be un-noticeable and is worth airing again for the first couple of bedding changes.Since this adds to the overall depth of the bed it is also worth noting that some "standard" fitted sheets may not fit quite so well depending on your mattress, however after a quick search around found that it was possible to get extra deep fitted sheets and this means no more sheets coming off.Sometimes this does still feel a bit too firm and I am currently considering a thinner (maybe 2") less dense topper to go on top of this just to add a little more luxury to the overall feel.

I ordered a double and it arrived deceptively small. It’s folded in half then rolled so don’t be fooled to thinking it’s not the correct one! This was a perfect double bed size and apart from the odour it’s the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages! I have put a thinner topper over it to try and mask the smell. I suffer OA of the hips, degenerated discs in neck and lower back pain and I actually got out of bed not walking like an 80yr old (I’m in my 40’s) over all I’d recommend this product highly!

To start with, the smell is far worse than I imagined and took around 2 weeks before I could actually use it.Now the good news, I slept for about 3 hours a night, for well over a year, I do get rest chucked in there too and since buying this topper, I'd estimate I'm sleeping about 4/5 hours a night and my aches and pains have eased off a fair bit, the topper is nice and cool too so I move around less often.All in, amazing value, just air it for a lot longer than recommended, it's perfectly cut and has a great cooling effect when you roll over, which will be less often to be fair.

Excellent value and quality. Actually serves as a spare bed and stored away when not in use. so I purchased a sleep cool cover to maintain the integrity of the foam. That too was very good quality and remarkably easy to fit being totally zipped allowing you to envelope the topper then simply zip up. One word of caution! I ordered a Super King. When yours arrives don’t think they have only sent you a single and consider ringing before you open the product. Once opened it definitely is super king. When I rang to order the cover gentleman was exceptionally helpful and polite. Recommended highly *****

Although it's comfortable, makes my bed a bit better ,not really had a huge inpacked on my back condition, I think that's more about my spine problem, than the topper ,the way it loses star is the smell ,when unpacked ,I left it in a spare room ,with Windows open ,it over took the house after a week better but even now a week later i can still smell it with a cover and sheet on tried, talc alsorts, think fade in more time they do warn u ,so i expected it just not the strength of it and how long it lasted sadly
