How did I live without this!
This stuff is wonderful!!! As an American just finding her British Isle/Irish roots, and thanks to the GBBO, I cannot wait to use this in my pecan pie for Thanksgiving (just a bit of Irony there)! Lol Seriously, it's wonderful. Such a thick syrup that is so caramelly. You cant go wrong. Think I'm going to have to buy the gallon size next! Enjoy

The Brits Have it Right
I stumbled on golden syrup while searching for corn syrup in London a few years ago as corn syrup isn’t a thing there. Since then I use golden syrup for brushing across the top of some sticky baked goods like hot cross buns. It has a pure sweet flavor but can be heated on the stove and infused with vanilla, cinnamon, or whatever added flavor you’re looking to add. If you’re someone who likes adding simple syrup to your coffee, just use a little golden syrup instead.

Beware! A calculation error
If, as indicated,454g of Lyle's golden syrup is equivalent to 10.6 fl. oz, the larger size, 907g, cannot be 32 fl oz! It is, in fact, only 21.2 fl. oz.

Nothing more delicious
My daughter first sent me some Lyle's Golden Syrus from London and it's the most delicious syrup I've ever tasted. It's thick so can be used in backing and you can warm it up to thin it to use on pancakes, etc.

Ho dovuto pagare ben 14 euro di oneri doganali quindi il prezzo è eccessivo

Golden syrup was always a staple in my life growing up in UK. I loved it on fresh bread and toast. My Mum then started adding it to things I didn’t want to eat like porridge and even ground up aspirin in it! I still love it on toast and porridge but also bake with it
