Good product & instructions. Variable resistance levels. Slight rubbery smell but no deal breaker.
I never knew these things existed until I was watching a YouTube video. I'm starting pull-ups again after a billion years and need a boost until I gain some more strength. These bands are the motivator! They each come in their own ziptop bag and when you pull them out you'll see they are banded on each end to keep them in place. Once you unband them, they pop out into the big rubber band shape you'd expect. They are exercise bands, and very purpose-built for the job. For pullup assistance you can wrap them around the pullup bar and put your foot or knee in them. The different bands have different resistance levels. Pick the one you need for the job. Note that they are resisting your efforts to stretch them, which you'd expect. I mention that because I have to pull the band pretty hard to get my knee into it. Eventually I figured an easiest way to keep it stretched to the right length and get my knee in it. I'm just staring on pullups after a long time so need the highest resistance band. Once I get stronger I can move to lower resistance levels and those should stretch further... eventually I'll get my foot in there! The instruction book shows all the exercises you can do, and there are a lot. One thing - the bands smell sort of rubbery. I can handle that but prefer not to store them without re-bagging them each day so the room doesn't have that slight odor. You simply fold the band and put the small rubber bands over each end and put it in its bag. I was skeptical about these but am won over now. Good deal.

Versatile, Strong, and Actually Useful for All My Workouts
These resistance bands are such a solid set and honestly a great value for what you get. I love that there are multiple resistance levels because it makes them useful no matter what Iโm working on that day. I use them for assisted pull-ups, stretching, mobility work, and even leg and glute exercises, and theyโve held up really well. The bands feel thick, durable, and high qualityโnot flimsy or cheapโand they still snap back into shape after repeated use. I also really appreciate how beginner-friendly this set is while still growing with you. I started with the lighter bands and have been able to progress as Iโve gotten stronger, which makes workouts feel intentional instead of frustrating. The natural latex feels sturdy and smooth, and I feel confident using them without worrying about tearing or slipping. The included storage bag makes it easy to keep everything organized, especially if you take them to the gym or use them at home. Overall, these bands are extremely versatile, well made, and functional for strength training, mobility, and recoveryโI reach for them constantly and would absolutely recommend them.

Great weights alternative
I have not had these but a little while, so I can't say how they do for years, but so far, very durable and no issues. I have had some medical issues with lifting. Basically, I have made progress, then had a change in medical care and experienced set backs of maybe losing 30 - 60 lbs I can lift, but just that over and over every about 3 months for about a year. I also work in a sometimes very contaminated area with the pandemic. I also am pretty lightweight, and without the pandemic, I like minimalism and travel-ability, as well as having something at home which doesn't scratch up the floor, if one is renting. All these factors combined to lead me to try these. They are awesome! I am have done strength-related work for a couple decades, but only weights for about 5 years. I've been used to doing bar lifts, like standard bench-press/deadlifts/squats, just usual stuff for about a little over a year. As above, I've been struggling. Sometimes I've had issues with neurological stuff with muscle communication, and these bands have been very helpful. I'm still getting consistent tensioning and form down, but it's great knowing I know how to get out of lifts easily. If I'm on my own and moving more force than my own body weight, I don't have to worry that I'll get stuck in a pose and possibly majorly mess myself up. I also don't have to worry about getting squished under weights and suffocating, although even with metal weights, you can work around that with pose. I'm not an experienced lifter, but as an amateur trying hard to work forward, these have been great. If I do the right lifts, I do definitely feel it, and the only limitation I've been met with has been hand strength to handle the latex pulling against them. I met the same with metal bars and grip starting with them, so I bet this will resolve, or gloves do remove the problem. I love that I can pick these up and put them in a little bag and tote them around. Easy to work out inside during bad weather, or carry to the park and work out there or in nature. I never worry about missing out on a workout due to social anxiety. I do miss my gym, but it's closed anyways due to the pandemic, so this is great in the meantime. Thanks so much!

Solid bands, do what they say!
Bands worked as expected. No issue with quality, and don't expect any. Removing one star, as there's no data showing the force equivalents for the assistance (ie, what would the equivalent weight be if it was an assisted machine). The guide provides recommendations, but they seems overly conservative.

Great resistance bands for home workouts
Really happy with this set. The bands feel strong, durable, and well made. The different resistance levels make it easy to use for pull up assistance, stretching, strength training, and mobility work. They are easy to store, simple to use, and a great addition to a home gym. Very solid value for the price.

Portable, Versatile, Convenient, Effective
These are great for home workouts or training with minimal equipment, though you can also combine them with weights. I use them to do add resistance to body weight exercises (dips, push-ups) and to replace free weights and cable machines in traditional exercises (bicep curls, rows, lat pull-downs, side raises, squats, dead-lifts, etc). I used to own dumbbells and I loved working out at home with them but they were always in the way (small apartment) and moving to a new place was always a pain. With these bands, I don't miss the dumbbells at all. If you know how to use them you can definitely get a very challenging workout with them. For reference, I'm a 30 yo 200 lbs, moderately active male. I love the portability and flexibility they offer- Easy to take them anywhere with lots resistance levels (mixing different bands together and using different grips and anchor points). I strongly recommend getting a door anchor for exercises that need it. You can get a good one for less than $10 and it will allow you to do a ton more things with these bands. I've only had them for a couple of months but they seem pretty durable and don't feel cheap. Bonus things I like about using bands instead of weights (aside from the portability already mentioned) - Removes momentum. The band is always in tension, so you can't get "cheat" reps by swinging your body/arms. - Even though I get just as sore from each workout, I don't have any of the joint pain I would occasionally feel after going heavy with weights.

Very useful equipment; great customer service
I'm in my late 40's and have been a frequent presence at the gym, lifting free weights for about the last three decades. I'm no Schwarzenegger, but, along with some cardio, it's kept me in shape. When the pandemic hit and my gym in NYC was shuttered I put together a make-shift gym in my place upstate, but getting the right equipment was a slow (and yet incomplete) process. So I thought I would supplement with these bands and now I'd find it hard to live without them. I use them both to complement free weights (eg, stretched behind my back turns 35 lb dumbbells into 60 lbs when doing incline dumbbell press) and stand-alone, replicating a lot of the movements for ancillary exercises that in a gym would require varied and expensive equipment (eg, reverse cable flyes). My significant other uses them to do assisted pullups. I bought another set for my NYC apartment given that I now spend part of the week there and am not ready to venture back into Equinox just yet. On customer service: when my (slender female) significant other was doing assisted pullups with the purple band, it broke. It can happen (now she uses two red bands). I contacted the seller via the Amazon seller messaging link (important note: to do this click on the Sunpow US "sold by" link on the right side of the page โ not the Sunpow Store link at the top, which oddly takes one to a page selling metal detectors). I left a message at around 10:30 pm ET and the seller had responded within 20 minutes. After one more exchange to provide my address the seller had sent โ by expedited mail โ not just a replacement purple band but a whole new set. Suffice it to say I'm impressed.
