EXACTLY what it is supposed to be!
I like the straight forward manner in which this product is supplied. Nice, clean label, simple. ONE ingredient that does it's job! Be warned that there are NO INSTRUCTIONS on the packaging, so you will need to know how to use this properly. It's 1/8th of a teaspoon for pints, and 1/4 teaspoon for quarts. Has a dry consistency of powdered milk. Dissolved quickly and was a breeze to use. My first batch of pickles made with this product are crispy and fresh! Will be purchasing again.

Good product nice container…
I purchased this to use it as a desiccant for preserving pollen. Being unsure of the moisture content upon purchasing, I charged the calcium chloride by baking in the oven at 250° for two hours.. Works like a charm right down to 5% humidity!
