Why did you pick this product vs others?: Super easy to use. Doesn't take up much space Grip: Plenty of grip for normal deadlifting Safety: Keeps the plates from moving around Functionality: Not even a complaint really, but the so called locking mechanism isn't easy to "lock". Not an issue at all as they're magnetic and just slap right on and are pretty secure.

Wouldnt use for high impact exercises. Benching squatting etc is fine, but deadlift got loosened

Got these as a present and he ended up buying more pairs. They work great and the magnet is strong. Not great for workouts where you’d be dumping the bar because they won’t hold but perfect for any traditional lifting. The original pair I got, the magnet did rip through the rubber after a year or two. The pair he’s using now have been going strong for a few years now. Easy to use for anyone.

I bought these clamps because my new gym does not have but 2 pair. I wanted something portable and effective. These work perfectly and the magnetic feature is awesome. Use on deadlift and rows for example and they hold strong.

Bought these for use with my REP Fitness Gladiator MX Barbell with standard sleeve diameter. These collars just don't hold. When you pull the claw over the tabs it quickly slips off. Even if you just hook the claw over the tabs just sit there for a second and you can watch it slip right off. So when using these you are just relying on the magnetic strip to hold the plates in place. I was hopeful initially, but just can't recommend these collars.

I really wanted these to work. I CrossFit and the spring clamps don’t do a great job of keeping the weights in place when dropping the barbell. Not only do these NOT stay in place, they don’t “hook” very well, so I would waste a lot of time trying to get the “nubs” to stay in the holes. On the positive side. For simple lifts without dropping the bar they do well (bench, shoulder press, etc). They don’t take much room in your bag and the magnetic feature is really nice so you can stick them to the rack or barbell while changing weights. So … not a total loss, but I wish they worked out better for CrossFit workouts.

Very helpful in the weight room. I compared these and the clasps our school buys and every time I deadlifted these Talons stayed, but the schools clasps they came loose and the weights almost dropped on my foot. My buddy was using them for squats and someone took all the weights off of one side and the bar fell, and all the weights stayed on. Very good product I recomended these for my school weight room

I tell people I had to chew a lot of bubble gum to get them pink Ones!
