I image this product is pressurized. Can you keep this in your car on hot summer days without the can exploding from the heat?

Do not keep in car in hot weather. Car temps can easily reach 120 degrees. If it bursts you're going to be very sorry. Manufacturer states don't leave in hot car.

What is the scoville scale rating for this product and is the same product 'scan' used by the nypd, chicago and la police not just the same brand?

I believe its 200,000 and most police officers are using the Sabre red Gel. Very accurate without the overspray. As a fellow user this stuff is amazing. You will not be disappointed. I also have the huge bear spray when on vacation in NC

Just received 2 canisters, shaking it feels empty ( nothing sloshing around) is this normal? Or did I get sold empty canister?

I just shook mine and didn't hear or feel anything sloshing around either but I know it's fully charged because I test fired it as soon as I got it. I test fire all my pepper sprays when I get them and once per year after that. Make sure to give yours a quick 1 second test fire, your life may depend on it working. The range on this one said up to 18 feet. When I tested mine I believe that the range was over 20 feet. I love this stuff.

Does this leave a marking dye on the attacker?
