Thus, #3 of your rating factors is NOT applicable. First of all, it is quite durable, so it has to be genuine leather, and it looks tooled rather than stamped. The black finish is beautiful, slightly glossy but just a bit. For the modest price, the belt itself doesn't look cheesy at all, but I deducted 1 star for the craftsmanship because the white stitching detracts from the overall great looks of the belt. All I can say is, why in the Sam Hill would you do that? When a matching, black thread would not cost the manufacturer one red cent more. Since otherwise I really, really like the item, but the glaring white stitching bugged me, I used a black Sharpie and colored the stitching black the entire length of the of the outer edges of the belt on the top side, (obviously not underneath!) This only took me about 5 or 10 minutes and it so improved the appearance of the belt, it's hard to distinguish it from my considerably more expensive black tooled Justin belt, which has black stitching by the edges. I also love the fact that this belt maker used snaps instead of Chicago screws to attach the buckle, which makes changing the buckle, well, a *snap*! So, add one half-star back for the snaps, to replace the star I deducted due to the unattractive white stitching, and it was a very worthwhile purchase.

Excellent quality! Real leather, not the fake stuff and not bonded stuff. Good feel to it and well cut. The snaps really snap and hold and the holes in the belt are just the right size so that a separate buckle, when mounted, has a firm hold on the belt and doesn't slip out like many others do when the holes are too large. Good price. Good purchase.

This belt is way better than expected. This quality of belt is $50 or more at any store. What a deal! The craftsmanship is outstanding and it's thicker than I thought it would be. Very strong and exactly the right width for levi's 501 jeans. My USMC cowboy buckle fit nicely and the snaps were adequate quality. They snap and unsnap with a lot of force required which is of course what you WANT for the snaps... nothing worse than those not holding the buckle on after a lot of use. Great product. Definitely recommended.

I ordered two belts in different colours. Amazon indicated they would be shipped in two separate packages. One of these got lost (Amazon even notified me accordingly, but neither reversal of the purchase nor refund were possible!!!), the other one was piked in a wrong size (6 inches too short!!). Caveat emptor - buyer, you need to be lucky to get what you ordered. :-( The one belt delivered itself was okay quality-wise, beautiful design, sturdy leather, however, smelling from the chemicals used in producing them (would need long airing before use).
