Awesome vanilla beans!
This is my third time purchasing these vanilla beans and I have not been disappointed. They are great quality and they taste amazing! I use them to make my own vanilla extract and have gifted many bottles and always get rave reviews. The price for them is great and they last. They were vacuumed sealed upon arrival and the size and quantity received was exactly as described.

Much Better Than Tahitian Beans for Making Vanilla Extract
I tried Tahitian beans to make vanilla extract using various spirits: Rum, Bourbon, Vodka, and Vodka plus grain alcohol. I did a similar test with these beans from Madagascar (i.e., Malagasy beans). I let the mixtures age for eight months. The results, in all cases, were that these Malagasy beans were far superior in color, aroma, and taste; hence, the reason I gave these Malagasy beans five stars. So, if you are buying vanilla beans for making your own vanilla extract, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Tahitian beans. Next, for spirits, the best one (so far) is bourbon. It generates a great color, great aroma, and great flavor. I've tried both Evans Black and Evans Bonded with these Malagasy beans (some Grade B, some Grade A), and they produce excellent vanilla extract. Remember, you have to let them age for at least 30 days, and I would say a minimum of 90 days. I have one bottle that I've been aging since Sep 1, 2020, and it is awesome! In short, I pretty much go for the Grade A Malagasy beans and put about six of these in an 8.5-ounce, square-glass, sealable bottle and fill it with Evans Black or Evans Bonded. Then just let them age! I hope the above helps. If you've done some experiments yourself, please add your comments. I would enjoy reading them.

Pleasantly surprised with quality!
For the price, I think these were a very good deal! They were $12.99 (Prime free shipping) when I purchase them in Oct 2023. I see from some of the other reviews that these might be hit or miss. But for me, I was happy with what I received. They smell amazing, the strong vanilla scent wafted right through the packaging! I'd say they are 'medium plump'. They're definitely not skinny and dried up, but they are also not the most plump largest vanilla beans I've ever had either. They fall somewhere in the middle. Again, I think for the price point they are perfect. Especially when you consider how much one single vanilla bean costs in most grocery stores! So far I used 1 vanilla bean to make some vanilla simple syrup. It turned out terrific. Then I cut it up & put the used vanilla bean in a small jar of natural sugar. It's been sitting there for about 2 weeks, whenever I open the jar, it smells amazing. It's a great way to reuse vanilla beans.

QUALITY
Today I received my 10 pack of the Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans Grade B . Having read many reviews before purchasing...I decided the pro's outweighed the cons. THESE BEANS arrived in a vacuum sealed bag...I snipped off just enough of the bag to pull out the 4 beans I was going to use in my growler-type bottle...which does not hold 8 oz of bourbon with the seeds. The beans were moist, fragrant and easy to handle. The beans are uniform in size and when split, bursting with vanilla fragrance. I created my bottle of Vanilla Extract, to be...which, according to my recipe will be ready to use in 4-6 weeks and longer ! I WILL DEFINATELY PURCHASE FROM THESE FOLKS AGAIN.

Madagascar vanilla beans
I absolutely love these for making homemade vanilla. They come well packaged and fresh. The size of the beans are perfect and they smell so good. They are awesome for making homemade icecream or anything that takes fresh vanilla. I definitely will be ordering more. Great seller, packaged good and fast shipping.

Best beans for a great price
The beans are everything you could have hoped for. The price is great for the quality of beans. I was afraid that the beans that I received would be moldy as so many others on Amazon are, but the beans were perfect. No mold at all. The fragrance level is very good with what youโre paying. The beans have been sitting in vodka for about a week now and the liquor is starting to smell like vanilla. The customer service is excellent, one of the packages had much leaner beans in comparison to the other and the company remedied the issue quickly. It doesnโt make sense to buy beans from Whole Foods or another shop, when the quality you have here is the same for a fraction of the cost. You have my future business!

smells sooo good
these vanilla beans are fresh, plump and full of vanilla seeds. I will say though that if you are making vanilla extract in 8oz bottles, you have to trim some of them to fit, but not by much. Overall, a great purchase and I'm excited to see how the extract turns out a year or so from now (I used spiced rum for one batch and weisers special blend for the other)

Smell Heavenly
I bought these Madagascar Vanilla Beans to continue or extend my vanilla extract but I've been making since March of 2019. Because vanilla is perpetual you can keep adding your alcohol of choice and vanilla beans and it'll go on forever. I haven't opened up the package yet but I can literally smell the vanilla beans through the package so I know that they're pretty potent with their flavor in aroma and the package (although sealed) is pliable which indicates that they are not dried out. They seem quite meaty so they're full of the caviar.

Good Beans
Beans were air right sealed, were fresh and ready to use. Aroma was incredible. I will be enjoying my fresh vanilla extract in about 3 months. Yeah!

Aromatic and potent
I could smell the vanilla through the packaging. Required very little for my recipe and the flavour came through perfectly. Will definitely buy again.

Donโt buy they smell and taste bad
They smell very bad. It seems like they covered them with some bad smell oil. Donโt buy them. I threw $30 in the garbage.
