Perfect Planter Box!
This is solid and galvanized steel a the perfect size for a patio/deck garden container (I got the XL). Also a great price. I read too many reviews about wood boxes rotting and collapsing. I wanted to get something that will last. The manufacturer created a great product here. However, Amazon and UPS need to do a better job in shipping. I read that this was an issue for other people, and I had the same experience. A corner on one piece was bent and I had to bend it back into shape with pliers. The top of the packaging was open and it is a miracle I had all the loose nuts and bolts in there I needed to put it together. Amazon doesn't bother to put this in an outer protective box and UPS must be throwing it around during shipping.

Super easy to put together
Super easy to put together. Follow the photos. Did it by myself. Sturdy once you get it together.Make sure to leave the screws out of the last two legs just on the top so you can get the tray down into position.Legs will need to be moved away from the sides just a bit in order for the tray to slide down onto the ledges. Make sure you put it together with the edges(ledges) inward all facing each other. The tray sits on the ledges. Or put the tray in and then put on the last two legs. Legs have L shaped plastic covers so the leg bottoms won’t scratch. Be careful not to push those on too hard. They break easy. Had to crazy glue one of mine back together.

Read the instructions
So my cat and I put two of these together, though his role was mostly supervisory and moral support. Read through the instructions and make sure you understand them before you jump in and start putting things together.Do take care, as the edges are a little sharp. The edges of the side pieces are bent either up or down, to form a valley that the bottom, which also has a bent edge, fits into. The bottom just sits there- its edge bent down to fit into the edges of the sides, which bend up. If you put it together backwards, the bottom won’t grip the sides and will fall through eventually. There may be a way to secure the bottom piece in place better, by drilling a few holes and adding a couple bolts with nuts. I put the side pieces and legs together so the whole thing was upside down, only putting in the top two screws (you’ll need a Philip’s head screwdriver), just hand tightened. Leave the bottom screws off, because they get in the way when you try to insert the bottom panel. Flip it right side up, put the bottom in, a little bit at an angle, long side first so it slips under the screws on the sides. It should drop into place and be held there by the edges of the sides. Now you can put in the rest of the screws and tighten everything up. Once it’s assembled, be careful moving it, because the bottom piece can pop up out of the groove and the side will bow out. I’m planning to either put big plastic pots or grow bags in mine, so if I have to move it I can simply take them out and replace them after I get the planter where it needs to be, checking to make sure the bottom is securely in place. The legs are a little flimsy, and the plastic feet are fragile, one broke just trying to get it snapped on. I got these on some special deal- around $25 each, I don’t think I’d pay more than that. The color is a bit blah, will probably paint them. Not a bad item, but they need to come up with a way to secure the bottom.

Arrive slightly damaged
This planter is reasonably easy to put together, good price overall and attractive. The issue that by the time it comes from wherever the packaging with little protection bangs up the thin metal sheets and corners. If there is bend and the corners do not fit neatly it will not stay together correctly (or worse fall apart when you add dirt). My husband had metal crimping tools for sheet metal, so we I repaired it. Otherwise, you have to return it and try again to get one that is not damaged, 50/50. I would buy in store if you can. The company needs to ensure better travel of the product - and the little protection that is in there is the worst environmental thin foam chip board that is all torn and squished on arrival, so big mess and bad to dispose - very "green" for a "biogreen" named company!!

Perfect for herbs
We bought this to put our herbs in instead of a big one on the ground. It worked perfect, you could fit 4-5 herbs in there depending on what you're using and how close. It was easy to assemble, some of the screws didn't line up easily though so you had to push the parts together closer to screw it in. But it's held up great even through a few storms!

Disappointed!
The raised plant bed had NO nuts and bolts nor allen wrench to put it together and should have had 24 nuts and bolts. The package the screws should have been in was torn and empty. Who would keep just those and send the rest of the parts back! Should have known something was wrong when one end or the box had been opened and sloppily taped back together. Two choices - send it back or buy my own nuts and bolts - probably cheaper and less stressful to try to find the correct nuts and bolts size than send it back since it's very heavy. So much for, what I thought, was a great sale price!

Perfect Planter
This planter was exactly what I was looking for. It fit perfectly behind the small patio seat and tall enough so flowers are visible. Not sure if necessary, but I put two bricks inside to give it a little extra weight it case of wind, but overall seems pretty sturdy. I also found 2 plastic rectangular plant pots that fit inside so I didn’t put the soil directly into stand. I really like it!

Compact Size for Just Right for Small Spaces
After purchasing one of these a year ago, I came back and purchased a second one to match it this season. These are the right size and height to grow herbs or for planting annuals to add splashes of color in a small area.I took my time to verify all parts were present, and to review the instructions. Everything was there and fitted together properly.. Start to finish it took about an hour to put together. Some reviewers thought the instructions were inadequate. Admittedly, they are very minimal, but paying close attention to the order of assembly will result in a sturdy planter. If not assembled in the correct order, the bottom of the planter will not stay in place and there will be a mess when soil and plants are added.
