I wanted to get a USB charger for my devices while I'm traveling. I found this as one of the few that can charge at 3 amps and is compact. I didn't want one that had 10 ports or was 5 inches tall. They took a lot of consideration in the design of this device. Its designed as a square for even balance when placed on a flat surface. The power cord is separate from the box itself, this makes for easier packing and not bending (damaging) the power cable while traveling. The power cord is about 3 feet long so it has some good distance for it. The charging powers located in the each of the top corners and the USB-C in the center. They are all clearly marked for their amp capability. The charger comes wrapped in solid plastic ensuring a clean surface when you receive it. You can leave the plastic on as it's placed on with 4 pieces of plastic, one per side. Given its charging devices, I'm sure it will get warm to some degree, it may be best to remove the plastic. Once powered ON, 4 soft green LEDs will light up noting power to the USB ports, no LED for the USB-C. You plug in from there and let your devices charge. It comes packaged neatly in what looks like a watch box. No way it can take damage while in shipment unless its completely crushed. It comes in a box and is then placed inside a cardboard frame to hold it in place. The AC power cable is wrapped separately under the charger device. It comes with instructions as well. I am very happy with the packaging, look, and feel of this charger. I had others that were tall and would tip over or call off tables due to weight of the cabling. This won't have that same problem, it has a heavy base and cables plug from on top. I am not sure how the charging will go with a single or multiple devices but I'm sure it will work just fine as I will be using this for overnight charging.

I first read about the Xcentz 48W 5-Port USB Charging Station on AndroidPolice.com. I quickly ordered it and was initially impressed by its innovative design and craftsmanship. Even though it is compact, it can quickly charge any device. It has the following ports: 1) One port for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 2) Three ports for a maximum standard 2.4Amps 3)One port for USB-C which charges at a rate of 5V/3Amps. Be aware that if you choose to keep this on your nightstand or next to your bed at night, there are several green LED lights that remain “ON” at all times. In my opinion, the Xcentz charging station is far superior to anything Anker or other competitors have on the market these days. Simply put, it gets the job done quickly and efficiently.

This product appears to be built very well. It has lights on it that are bright enough to see in a dark room, but not so bright as to shine directly in your face, making it difficult to sleep. I placed mine on my nightstand, and use it to charge my Tablet, Cellphone, iWatch, and Bluetooth headphones. Being that there are (3) ports for USB-A (most common) that each charges at 2.4A, (1) QC3.0 port (most Android), and (1) USB type C (newest, fastest technology). I cannot honestly tell you how fast it takes to charge any given device as there are too many factors to consider; such as battery health, battery size, voltage, etc. However, I have brand new iPhone XR that I bought two weeks ago, when it was at 10% capacity I plugged it in using the cable from my iPhone 7. I was using social media whilst charging at the same time. At around 2 hours, I checked and my phone had been changed to about 87%. This charger is truly amazing and has surpassed my expectations!! At roughly 8.5 oz. (241 gr), it’s perfect, as it’s heavy enough to not easily slide around with multiple cables plugged in going in different directions. If traveling internationally, and if luggage weight is an issue, please think about that. However, considering the alternative: you’d have to pack various charging blocks, need many wall outlets, etc. this charger would be my choice to take with me. The owners manual states that input voltage is 100-240v. It does not come with any adapters needed for various wall outlets. I highly recommend this product!! I believe you’ll be thrilled with this item as much as I am.

It was awesome during the 3 months it worked. Then it died. I broke it apart just for the fun of it and discovered it’s an assembly of two distinct pieces from different providers. One is 110AC to 16DC switching supply and the other is a USB charger board accepting 12-18V DC ?!?. The switching supply was dead but the usb charge board was OK. So I printed a box and voila … nice camp / desktop charger that is accepting any laptop power supply you have laying around or can connect to you car lighter and is working flawlessly for the last 5 years.

I bought this to consolidate multiple devices that required USB power into one charging hub. Alexa, a 12W USB task light, and an Amazon cloud cam. All work well with this as their power source, and I still have a quick charge port and USB-C port to spare! My first reaction is it was a little bit to travel with, but actually when you consider everything it replaces, it’s actually not bad. Plus, in hotels you’re often struggling to find enough wall sockets to plug in all your chargers. So this is a really handy way to charge everything in one location using only a single wall plug. I was also really wanting a product that was either ETL or UL certified for safety purposes. There are a lot of really cheap devices that have no certifications at all, and you’ll find a scary review or two about it catching fire. This is ETL certified, so gives me some peace of mind. Highly recommended!

This cute little cube sits on my desk with charging cords attached for my various devices that need regular charges, like two phones and my Apple watch. I did not appreciate that most of the USB ports on my laptop docking station are not powered, and my power strip is already full. It easily goes in my gadget bag when I travel, because no hotel ever seems to have enough conveniently placed outlets to charge everything. The middle port is a USB-C that will even charge my laptop without requiring me to crawl under the desk to hunt for another outlet. It's a good idea to buy some short USB cords to go with it, because longer cords just add to the desk mess.

This is a nice little power cube! It has plenty of power and plenty of USB ports to handle my small stash of electronics and it eliminates the too-big and awkward 120V adapters from my bedside. The little LED lights are not too bright but might bother some people if on a bedside table. I have mine just under the edge of the bed and the lights make it easy to see. It also makes as a handy nightlight. It's just heavy enough to mostly stay in place.

Honestly, I hardly ever review products because I am inherently lazy, but these chargers by far exceed my expectations. After my initial purchase, I have purchased an additional two. The quality is great. One block to charge most or if not all of your devices. Some people might find this a bit large to travel with, but I travel constantly and I have no problem with it. Do yourself a favor and purchase this to unclutter unnecessary travel chargers. Also, the quick charge really is the icing on the cake.
