Working great
I have been searching for some time for either a slow feeder or raised feeder or both for my cats. I was gifted a set of these—two larger bowls (regular height https://www.amazon.com/Necoichi-Raised-Water-Bowl-Regular/dp/B00KAW62CI/ref=pd_bxgy_2/137-3163028-0076437 ) and one of these small bowls. The cats seem to like them so I ordered a second of these small bowls. They use the small bowls for wet food and the larger to share dry food and water (as seen in the photo). They do not really drink out of the water as they prefer their fountains. The bowls are attractive, quite sturdy, and are easy to wash out. They do not slow down my beasts from eating, however I also have not had another vomiting incident since these were purchased. My cats are just at a year old and the height works for both of them, though one cat is much larger than the other. For some reason they often take pieces of dry food out of the larger bowl and eat it off the ground which they do not do from a non raised bowl. Other items I tried that did not work: LumoLeaf Raised Cat Dog Food Bowl with Transparent Tilted Cat Bowl, Detachable & 0-30° Elevated Cat Bowls -- had no weight so got pushed around, cats didn't like to eat from it. I believe it rubbed their whiskers too much. Plastic took more effort to clean than the ceramic of the Neoichi bowls. The URWOOW Collapsible Foldable Slow Feeder Pet Dog Cat Puppy Silicone Travel Pet Slow Feeding Bowl Dog Water Dish Cat -- The collapsable style meant the sides did not bother kitty whiskers. The raised silicone spikes were too high for a cat. Others seemed to have success with dry food where the cat can paw out pieces. My beasts could not reach their wet food and hated them. They also had a large foot print and food got all over the floor. Note there are several listings from different companies that appear to be the same bowl. When completing my set, I looked for the matching imprint that is on the under side (third picture).

Beautiful sturdy and Jasper approves 🐇
These limited edition Japanese pet bowls are so pretty and cute. The regular size is perfect for my bunny. I went to Japan in 2023 as my bucket list dream vacation and fell in love with the quality of Japanese products. My bunny also happens to be a "Japanese Harlequin lop" . 🪭🇯🇵 So these bowls are perfect for him representing his heritage. Lol. They are sturdy and well made. My bunny loves them and hasn't tried to tip them over. Highly recommend 💯💖

Works very well!
I purchased this bowl as a water bowl for my cat. I am reviewing the "Raised Cat Food Bowl Elevated Feeder". The bowl measures 4 1/4th inches across, 2 7/8th inches tall (from the floor to the top of the bowl), and the inside of the bowl is about 1 1/4th inches deep. These measurements may not be exact but are as accurate as I could be (within a hair or two). I'd say the picture very accurately shows the size next to the cat. The rim turns inward slightly which helps to keep water (or kibble) in the bowl. It's easy to see how tall it is from the listing and pictures, though not quite how much the bowl actually holds (unless I missed it somewhere). It holds a 1/2 cup of water quite nicely. It's on the smaller side for a water dish. Ordinarily I would recommend having more fresh water available to your cat (see the link at the bottom of this review). However, my cat does not drink much anyway, and my vet wants me to start giving her a water supplement. I chose a smaller bowl so that I won't be wasting as much of the supplement since she does not finish her water and I change it daily. I am home most of the time anyway, so I would be aware if she needed more. And when I am away for a day trip I put out extra water in case I couldn't get home or something so I don't have to worry about her. My cat has never managed to tip it over. She likes to slide her bowl around the kitchen, I'm not really sure why she does this. It's sloshed some, but never tipped over. I don't mind the water on the floor, easy clean up, but if this would bother you I would recommend the "Elevated Ceramic Water Bowl" (linked at the bottom of this review). It looks heavier so not as likely to be slid by your cat. Says Microwave and Dishwasher safe, though I have never done either. I will be getting a second one in the near future to make daily washing easier. I'm very pleased with the quality. The paw prints and other details are very clear and sharp. Also, it's imported for Japan which makes me very happy as I am learning Japanese and volunteering to help native Japanese speakers in the US. It's something that may not matter to you making your decision but it makes me extra happy. I also purchased the "Raised Cats Treats Bowl": http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012MAPW7G?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 I recommend this water bowl: http://www.amazon.com/Raised-Water-water-stand-ceramic/dp/B00KAW62CI/ref=pd_bxgy_199_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1TNJT8H1X23V0TNEGMD5

Just perfect
I love this brand. I already had three of the ‘Extra Wide Raised Cat Food Dishes’ which are great - highly recommend. NOW I have this little mini one! One of my cats prefers fresh standing water vs the fresh water fountain. She’s always going for my cup of water. Soooo this is her new water bowl - it’s perfect! I feel silly being so excited about these dishes overall (lol) but they really are great. The ones I feed them on prevent whisker fatigue and the elevated height is good for digestion. This new little one is a perfect water bowl. Very well made, easy to clean, and so darn cute.

Far Exceeded My Expectations; Our Cat No Longer Upchucks 2-4 Times a Week!
I was rather skeptical when I read the reviews for raised cat bowls, but ordered the Necoichi bowl based on positive Amazon reviews. We put it into use the evening of March 20; it is now April 2. Our 7.3 lb Calico has not upchucked one single time since then! Previously, she would regurgitate her meals with distressing regularity: at the very least two or three times a week; sometimes even more frequently. What we invariably found was not vomit nor hairballs, but rather, semi-moist chewed cat chow in "rolls" the size of her esophagus. For whatever reason, she would chew and swallow the food, but something would prompt her to heave it up before it even made it down into her stomach. Suspicious that the raised bowl was too good to be true, we made it a point to check the less obvious places where she would occasionally upchuck (window sills behind curtains, company bedroom, underneath the dining room table etc.). We have checked every day, and have not found one single "upchuck" since putting the raised food bowl into place. So, we have concluded that for our little cat, the raised food bowl approach definitely makes a major difference. With respect to the Necoichi bowl in particular: with bought it because it is very attractive, made of ceramic, and is a standalone, one-piece design (we preferred that to some of the other bowls that came with separate platforms the bowl had to be placed upon, or were tilted and looked kind of weird. It is very attractive, and in our opinion looks nicer than many of the other bowls offered. The only minor drawback to the Necoichi bowl is that it only holds about 1 1/2 days of cat chow at best, for one small cat. That works for us, since we have only the single cat, and having to refill the bowl more frequently results in the chow in the bowl being fresher for her. If you have multiple cats, or a really big cat, you probably want to get a larger capacity bowl.

Raised cat food bowl
Really nice raised cat dinner bowl. Nice design. Easy to clean. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something similar. It’s very healthy for your cat to not have eat with their head all the way down.

Super cute bowls and seem to help my cat with his throwing up issue after eating
I bought 2 of these bowls (one for wet food and one for dry) for one of my cats who unfortunately has a problem with eating too much/too fast and then throwing up. He is also a very tall, big boned and long cat so a standard cat bowl is way too low for him...I figured I would give these a try since they will allow him to have his head higher than his stomach when he eats. In the short time that I have been using the bowls he has still thrown up but only 1 or 2 times at the most so that is a definite improvement. The bowls are perfect for putting a serving size of either wet or dry food inside each bowl and they are also really, really cute. Made of sturdy ceramic and are very easily washable in the sink (I don't own a dishwasher so can't attest to the ease of dishwasher use with these). If I am ever in the market for more cat food bowls I will definitely consider getting more...I also am the personal assistant/slave to this kitty's sister who is also a big cat, though not as big as her brother, but she doesn't have the issues with throwing up that her brother does. Great product, easy to clean, and they are really cute to look at too!

Great little bowl for a small cat
Great little bowl. I have a 6 pound Himalayan cat with a flat face, and this is the perfect height and size for her. I will say, since it's ceramic, you have to be careful, especially where you put the bowl on the floor. I did break one already but because my cat loves it so much, I got another one.

Amazing product. Raised bowl is must for every kitty ...
Amazing product. Raised bowl is must for every kitty owner. It helps a cat to have better posture while eating by naturally elevating the head and mouth higher than stomach.
