Cambridge Audio MSX SUB 200 (Black, MINX X201)

Fits the bill as I wanted a sub with decent output and in a compact size so it does not dominate the living room. Sounds great wired to the sub output of a Denon system. Decent thump adds to music/films etc without being intrusive. Silent when not operating unlike other manufacturers that I tried before this one. Very happy with the purchase.

Had this for a few months now and I am so glad that I took a chance on this compact sub. I can’t turn it more than half way up because all the cabinets shake and rattle, really nice bit of kit.

I absolutely love this little compact sub and it sounds superb upto a certain point, which is why I have marked it 4stars and 4stara on sound, because I'm currently running a 145w amp and 8ohms which the sub is 200w 8ohm which shouldn't have any problems playing a good thumping sound, however it farts and pops and peaks in certain bass frequencys, despite this I'd still definitely buy another... Very easy to use and set up

Bought this to add extra oomph to my Marantz / Technics Hi Fi . It's compact, well made and powerful enough for most domestic settings.

I missed the sound,so I bought a new on.

Have had two of these, both were great initially, then became unusable in emitting white noise after two-three years. Not sadly a durable product.

This sub replaced a dead Mordaunt Short Alumni 9, so it had some boots to fill, but it's done a fine job. Would recommend.

After lots of research I decided to take a punt on this sub, and I have made the right choice. It is connected to my tv headphone jack which can be switched to produce dedicated low frequency effects, which is great for movies and any dramatic atmospheric moments. It brings another dimension to the realism of whatever you’re watching. I was considering the bigger version from CA but this little box punches well above its weight. Highly recommended!

Nach langer suche, habe ich mich für diesen subwoofer entschieden. Ich wollte einen sehr kleinen subwoofer der sehr gut klingt und den ich unauffällig in die ecke stellen kann. Ich bin kein profi, was musikanlagen und subwoofer anbelangt, doch finde ich, das er sehr gut klingt , schnell reagiert und für diese kleine größe sehr viel power hat. (Kein dauergedröhne wie ein 150 € bassreflex sub.) Ich verwende den sub an meiner günstigen anlage. Canton einbau wand lautsprecher und kleinen surround lautsprecher. Denon surround verstärker. Ich drehe die lautstärke nur normal auf, da ich in einer wohnanlage wohne. Aber für übliche normale zimmetlautstärke ist er für mich perfekt. Bei filmen und musik unterstützt bzw. Übernimmt er die bässe , die meine kleinen lautsprecher nicht schaffen. Ich finde das das ganze klangbild von meiner günstigen anlage wesentlich besser und satter geworden ist. Mehr raumgefühl , satter und denoch nicht wirklich zu ortbar. Auch bei musik spielt er sehr schön mit finde ich. (pop , klassik) Habe den sub für knap 300 € (B -ware)bekommen . Positiv finde ich: + sehr klein + hochwertig verarbeitet + gutes modernes aussehen +guter klang + ausreichender bass , für tv/ musik + automatische ein/aus schaltung + frequenz einstellbar zwischen 50-200 Hz Negativ: - keine fernbedienung wäre fein... - nicht für extreme lautstärken....für mich aber nicht relevant Ich würde den sub jedenfalls wieder kaufen. Zum glück habe ich ihn günstig als B-ware gefunden. Ich denke, der normalpreis ist schon recht hoch. Doch hat er in dieser größe nicht viel konkurenz er ist von der qualität sehr gut und das geld somit auch wert.

Did not want to spend much to boost the bass in my monitor speakers. This does the trick with good sound quality. COuld not go back without a subwofer. Would buy this one again

Muy potente, lo tengo montado en un hueco pequeño, debajo del asiento de un simulador de conducción y cumple con creces su función por potencia y tamaño, es muy compacto. sus acabados son muy buenos.
