10 Inch Wall Mounted Shower System

Love the look of this set, but the tub spout could not be installed making this completely unusable. Company is impossible to communicate with and I’m now out of luck and trying to find another tub spout :(

Looks like a nice product when you receive it but take the parts out of the bags and closely check for damage, dings etc , its made in China! Starbath advertise as brass but when you feel how lightweight each part is this is false advertising and it can only be brass plated. Had my contractor do the rough in before tiling and everything seemed fine. On final installation , my first disappointment was that when you cast light over the mix valve cover it had several dings in the surface. Had my contractor start to install each component and everything seemed to be OK until he tried to install the tub spout. First of all, the threads ran short so that the plate that goes on the tile wall would not go flush with the end of the spout leaving about a 1/8 gap. Could have lived with that but when the plumber tried to thread it onto the supply pipe , it would only go about 1/4 inch. He tried to contact Starbath but it was impossible and he got nowhere with that. At this point, I would have returned the product but to do so would have required sending everything back and this would have required pulling out all of the tile that had been installed. Consequently I have had to purchase a new tub spout from a reputable manufacturer (Hansgrohe) for $110 to finish the job but this really is solid brass. An update to my previous comments. Company contacted me right away after seeing my review apologized and refunded the entire cost of the product without any return. Although I would have rather not gone through this at least the company stood by their product.

The quality of metal was not what I expected, so I did not install. I decided it was best to invest in another type of shower system, that seemed more durable. The manual was in very small print and was one page.

Finally got my plumber to come by and install, 3 way clave leaking, too late to return, and the supplier want answer, total waist of time and money

So, I just took my first shower with your system today and I noticed that the hand wand has a black discoloration on it as well. It’s not a scratch or something that can be removed…it’s a permanent black mark on the hand wand. Can you send me a replacement one that is not discolored with a mark? On a good note…I really enjoyed the amount of water and the pressure that it comes out of the hand wand, in comparison to other brands that I have installed in my other bathrooms. Thanks, Susan Stanley I sent you an email about this on April 15th and you said you were gonna send me another one...but you haven't. Please let me know when I can expect to receive that.

Please don't buy. It stopped working. Now I need to break the tiles and replace this crap.
