After 5 Months of use:There is a high pitched ear piercing, squealing sound coming from inside the sealed unit now, and its an obvious early warning of a failed component. I suspect the internal cooling fan is the cause. You cant continue to use a device that has failing internal parts that are signaling a problem in a compromise to the rest of the circuits automated operation. I have to leave it on unattended and now it cant be trusted.I really wanted to depend on this unit for at least a few years. I got a defective device, and now I have to remove the charger from a fixed location and start over AGAIN to replace it..Its really frustrating!EDIT: There is small 12v fan you can replace inside the unit that will eventually fail and you have to replace it from inside the enclosure on the vented port side. With a NEW FAN replacement it continued to operate normally.
