Best entree size shell......
I can't find the large shell anymore in the stores, although I do not know why. Glad to find them here on Amazon. These are a nice size shell for an entree dish with a sauce of your choice. The are not the size for stuffing like manicotti nor small enough for a salad (like macaroni).

you'll find them great for lasagna casseroles
12 Boxes for those of you that have been asking ... The large shells aren't available in our small town, so we stock up from Amazon. If you're a pasta nut, you'll find them great for lasagna casseroles, pasta salads, chicken and noodles, and even Mac & Cheese ... I like Barilla pastas best and will pay a bit more for them. They don't get gummy and are much easier to cook to al dente.

Perfectly sized shells!
I was so happy to find these on Amazon. I had been looking for a larger shell and couldn't find anything locally. For some reason, Barilla Large Shells aren't carried in Colorado. My favorite pasta is American Beauty's Sea Shells, but those aren't carried here either. Barilla's Large Shells aren't as big but they are a good substitute.

Simply the best
Barilla is my favorite brand of pasta and I was very disappointed when the stores in the area stopped carrying the large shells. So thankful I can finally get them again.
