So. Worth. The. Money. I am of the opinion that if I'm going to go through the trouble of baking from scratch then I use the best quality ingredients I can afford. This cocoa elevated my chocolate cake recipe I have been using for years. Tasted richer and less sweet. Highly recommend.

One of the best full flavored cocoas I've ever tried. A friend recommended I try this for my baking and even though it's a little pricey its so worth the cost. I can even use a little less than my recipes usually call for and this has upped my brownie game big time!

A true indication of how good this is was when I had a houseguest. I made her hot chocolate with this stuff the first few days and then with a lesser cocoa a day after that. She remarked that there was such a strong difference, with the Guittard being richer and more interesting in flavor.

This cocoa is addictive. But pricey. But worth it. I make Chef John's Food Wishes cocoa mix found on a youtube video only I use one part of cocoa to two parts of granulated sugar. It is the nicest cocoa I've ever used. It's so fine in texture it will fly all over if you don't hold it over a pan or bowl and carefully spoon or scoop smaller amounts out of the can, don't recommend trying to pour it or spoon it into a measuring cup sitting on, for example, a counter, you will have brown dust scattered around. It will also be nice for frosting and recipes calling for cocoa although I read not to use it with cake recipes with baking soda due to the Dutch process. I didn't like the traditional brand in any of my recipes as it wasn't robust enough. This cocoa does have a reddish cast to it which kind of adds to the mystique of it. I'm on my second order. I discovered Nido powdered milk with added vitamins (the adult variety) which is delicious compared to other brands. I use that for my cocoa, and lots of other things, and am a happy camper. I read that dark chocolate is good for you.

Do you ever ask yourself, “Why is my cake ok but just plain?” Well, ASK NO MORE. This is good chocolate and it will make your cake tastier by a factor of 3.
