Shells of Texas: A Beachcomber’s Guide to the Gulf Coast (Common and Notable Species)

I am taking this with me when I go shelling. I like that it is waterproof, and I think the pictures are pretty good. Won't know more until I've been to the beach.

I like that pictures are in color and laminated.

I live on the Texas coast and shell daily. Before this brochure I could not find a simple, comprehensive collection of just shells specific to my area. I searched many books, pamphlets, the internet... With this I can quickly find what I'm looking for.

This is a great guide for exploring Texas beaches. I like it so much that I bought one for my mother for Christmas and she loved it. I really like the color pictures and the fact that it is laminated in case it gets wet. My only criticism would be that I wish the print were a little larger for us "old people." :)

Works well - compact for your pocket - lots of info!

I love all of these guides and this one is no exception. Easy to pack, waterproof, adult worthy & but kid friendly! We carried to the beach and our 4 and 5-year olds had a great time identifying the shells we found.

Ordered this to take to the beach with us on our family vacation. Kids had a great time reading it and looking at the thoroughly labeled shells. Very informative!
