Very simple use but clever design make it versatile.
This the third Panasonic Microwave we've had over a twenty year period. No 1 lasted about nine years . When the first Inverter serices became available we decided to swap when we next had some spare cash. This occurred about two years later. This one lasted till about one year ago when it died. I found that getting it repaired would cost nearly as much as a new machine. Meanwhile we continued to use machine no 1 although the turntable was a bit cranky and the power was down from its original. No three was eventually found with it's all stainless steel construction. Most of the other models are either paint or enamal finish. That was reqirement number one.Plus points are the SS construction, the simple setting for ordinary use, using only three actions to set it going, the availabilty to select many function by either pressing a buttona the maximum of five presses or turning a knob to set say time or weight, The four select function buttons all double up to go through the function options like Power Level or grill setting. You can cascade functions by say adding Defrost and then Cook in one setting. One thing is that we don't use is the Convection setting as we always use our conventional Fan-assist oven for that. So I can't comment about it's use. There's a whole lot of special functions almost to many to learn off by heart. These provide all the options like baked potatoe. The display is very clear and bright. The Minus points are simple. One it's very heavy, about 16kG, Two you can't combine Microwave with Grill together, they are only sequential in the Combination setting. There may be more but so far we've not found them!.The price was a little on the upper limit but on the whole good value. I don't know exactly how long its been available so perhaps you should get one now while it;s still available!

Best oven ever used
We bought this oven as a replacement for a failing basic microwave. We decided to buy a combination oven so we could reduce the cost of using the oven in our main cooker. We found the convection oven very quick and cheaper to use. We tried combination cooking using the convection and microwave together and found the results superb. It cooks food from the outside and inside simultaneously and the results are great and really fast. it is very easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone.

I've been buying these for years
I've got used to the way the oven works. If you use 2 levels, the top of the food often gets a little burnt, and the food underneath will not cook at all! I'll warm food slowly on the lower tier, while cooking something on high heat on the upper tier.Best to go down 10 degrees below the guidelines on your food package. The microwave works fine.I've just got used to the way it works, and actually prefer it to using a big oven now because it's simple and right in front of me.Looks good too

A very decent combination microwave.
I have had this over a year now, and find it very good. It always takes a while to get used to new controls, but now I use it, confident that I will always get good results. It's easy to clean, looks good in the stainless steel finish, and I've not had an issue with it to date.I would say that this is good value for money, and a very decent combination microwave.

Very easy to use, does everything we need.
Bought to replace our previous Panasonic Combination Microwave which was used several times per day and lasted 7 years before starting to cut out randomly whilst cooking something.

High quality with lots of features.
This is the new version of the microwave that I have which stopped working recently (in spectacular fashion) but I bought it over 10 years ago, if this one lasts half of the time I'll be happy.

Zero quality control when these are manufactured
This is the 3rd faulty Panasonic microwave we've received, this is the first faulty one from this site. We went to Amazon instead because they kept coming with faults. The 5 minute start up test you do on these you get a large area of condensation in the top right corner inbetween the glass (so you cannot wipe it off). We've had two of these microwaves with this fault now. This one also had wonky feet which you cannot adjust so it rocks on the worktop. The other fault we've had with this model is a crack in the glass on the inside. It seems to me Panasonic have Zero quality control because all of these faults would be picked up doing the 5 minute first power on test. I just hope Amazon rectify this order. We did report this situation to the supplier here to be told they don't get any faults on these they sell thousands. Well I've attached proof of each fault we've received of this Panasonic model1st one we got we noticed misting top right corner on the 5 minute initial warm up test2nd one we got we noticed a crack in the glass right across the top, this crack is inside so you cannot feel it from the inside glass or outside glass. We didn't turn it on because it was too dangerous3rd one we got large patch of mist inside the glass, you cannot wipe it from the inside or outside. Now we contacted Panasonic online support it says this:However, if you're noticing steam trapped between the glass panels of the door, this could indicate a potential issue. In such cases, it's best to have the microwave inspected by a certified servicer.Basically you have no choice but to send it back.
