Big Bang for your buck! Used to be that if you needed a clock, you traveled to Kresge’s or Woolworth and chose from half a dozen loud ticking timekeepers available to you. When you popped for one it took a significant amount of your weekly spending money. Enter Amazon, China and American capitalism and things couldn’t be more different. This clock is a fine example of what we enjoy today. Three ounces compared to up to 2 lbs. in the day, AND, this clock is much more accurate, quiet and pleasing to the eye than most any Westclock ever made. Pennies for time; what a great time we do live in! Yes, buy one or one for every room. They will set you back less than a large pizza, and you’ll be able to accurately discern when your pizza will arrive. Gotta love them both!!

Not quiet at all! Constant sound instead of ticking but it drives my brother with Asperger’s crazy.

I liked the style, I decided to put up with the approximately 1.5" diameter depression on the face. Three months in the clock has began ticking loudly. I would not recommend this product and I will ask the vendor to take it back. It's too bad, because it has a nice font, it's a nice size too.
