The Bat Rises
The Bat 1/50 scale diecast has an excellent level of accuracy for such a small miniature. It looks impressive mounted on its included display base, particularly while poised overlooking my workbench from an overhead shelf's edge. I waited for the price to finally come down a bit, and wasn't disapointed when it arrived almost immediately thanks to my Amazon Prime shipping service. I also decided to forego a larger scale model of The Bat, which may never be marketed. I was able to carefully readjust some of the slight physical distortions that are a minor after effect of the packaging to a few of the more delicate outboard features on the underside rotors and the front cannons . I recommend The Bat to anyone who admires The Dark Knight Rises and to also the ignore the derogatory smears describing it as "The Flying Roach". Bruce Wayne as The Batman has taken to the air again and brought his tougher and more up to date franchise's exquisite design skills along for the extraoridnary ride.

The BAT is nice addition to collection
This is a neat little die cast with clear plastic windscreen and windows. I will do a little moderate weathering to the finish to give it a used look and bringout some of the angles and and fine detail on the casting -- same on the bottom plastic area. The only negative is the pair of hokey soft plasic propellers on the bottom. Holy Batcrap -- they have to go! I'll be upgrading them with a pair of vertical-lift jets. After all, Batman deserves the latest technology.

Too big for Batman Miniatures Game
I really like this Bat-Pod and details. Since it was listed at 1/50 I thought it would be good for the Knight Models “Dark Knight Rises” miniatures game but it’s too big.. the Bat-Pod in that game seems a little small. Looking for something in between if someone has a suggestion please let me know!
