Had to return due to duplicate. Was very impressed with this product.

Nice machine, but controls don't feel hard wearing, and you're only paying for the extra games
Games are great. But the hardware is identical to models costing less than £30. So you are only paying for the extra games. I bought to stick in my kitchen for my friends and I to play when we have a pi** up. I don't think it would survive that long as the joystick and buttons don't feel hardwearing. It is very over priced compared to the other machines which are identical apart from the games included. As a party machine it is too small In the end I returned this and bought a 10" screen machine (the screen on this machine is tiny - about 4 inchs from memory). The machine I finally bought cost double the price, but hardware is better, and the size of the machine is far better

Good but not great
I bought this from Amazon Warehouse on the understanding that its condition was 'very good', however, on receipt I found the screen was scuffed and this was something I could not ignore. The screen itself is not of good quality, it has is not bright but shows a lot of backlight. The pixel density is woeful and I can hardly make out each game's title on the landing screen. It plays OK, with arcade ROMs of PacMan and Galaga, it's just such a pity that all I could see was the screen scuff.

Great nostalgia trip! Good value.
Love this little machine, takes me back to my misspent youth in arcades and fulfills my childhood dream of having my very own arcade machine but without having to put coins in it! Positives: well made, not too heavy, good display, controls feel nice, headphone jack can be used to connect headphones or external speakers. Negatives: Mains power unit is a US one and although it is marked to operate from 110 to 240 volts, no adapter for UK/Ireland plug is included, Galaxian has bad sound, possibly an issue with the ROM which I can't resolve.

Galaxian is broken
I was astonished to see this struggle to run Galaxian. Frame rates go single digits at some points. You would think it was trying to run Crysis. Very poor and if you're buying this for Galaxian. DON'T.

It's okay but there are a few niggles
I own a few of the My Arcade machines and this Namco Museum one is by far the largest. You would rightly think this is a good thing as, bigger cabinet equals bigger screen, right?? Well, yes and no. Each game has the option to play in its original aspect ratio or to stretch to fit the screen, but on, say Rolling Thunder it looks ridiculous stretched and playing standard you are using little more than one third of the screen available! Due to the scaling down, the joystick lacks precision and therefore the reduction in responsiveness affects your enjoyment of playing, often ending in frustrating mis-moves. Due to the larger size of the unit and the 20 game catalogue, a facility to save high scores to memory would have really been a significant plus point but alas, once you reset a game or switch off the unit, scores are lost. I know the original arcade machines lost scores once switched off but fast forward 30 years and I don't think it would have been too difficult to implement on this unit. I managed to pick mine up for £49.95 from another retailer but had I paid a 3 figure sum I might have been left feeling a little short changed by this offering.

I am a certified arcade junkie from the 70's and 80's. These games are responsible for changing my career goals from math teacher to computer programmer. This is not some cheap imitation of something made to resemble what arcade games might have been like.. this is the real deal. Sure its a smaller screen on modern hardware but its the original code, original sound, and original action. Despite the buttons being small they are high-quality switches including the metal joystick. Even the volume buttons on the back, and the coin door power switch. And how many electronics products do you know with a printed instruction manual in this many languages, a written warranty and toll-free US support. Every single person who has seen this since I opened the box has been absolutely amazed. Even the attractors are active between games. And high-scores work, they are just not saved on power down. Case may be plastic but its solid. PS - Even the original Rolling Thunder 2-3 with 2 cpus had problems keeping pace, this machine could even be better than the original hardware. This is a must-have for any of us who were lured into spending rolls of quarters on the most exciting habit of our lives. All I need is STARGATE on it but maybe with Namco down, Williams is next.

This little arcade game is awesome. It has lots of classic favorites which feel just like the original games. The games have all of the music and sound effects. The only two oddities are that 1) the joystick is small but doesn't really affect game play and 2) when playing Dig Dug, the music stops if you're not pushing the joystick. But as soon as you push it again, the song starts right where it stopped. This is a great item for anyone who loves these classic games.
