Great to keep on hand for your horse
This is a great product. I definitely always keep this on hand for packing my horses hooves if there is any kind of heat for in soundness. A little goes a long way. It works really well.

Love this product
Love this stuff. I use it on my horses hooves when traveling long distances and if I'm stalling for several days. Takes out the soreness. I use latex gloves to apply as it is very messy.

Great product.
Great product. Easy to use (messy but easy), stays put and heals quickly. I used it to get my horse past a hot nail. I have friends who use it at shows as a preventative when ground is tough.

Excellent and effective product for laminitis
About 5 days after this arrived, my mini donkey became laminitic due to being fed incorrect hay (not by me!). This along with a Chinese herb mixture and proper hay, she was 75% better within a week. This stuff is sticky but comes off tools easily with rubbing alcohol. I cleaned her hooves very well, applied Magic Cushion, slipped a sandwich bag over her hoof, added a double layer of flip flops (cur to size......I stocked up at Wal-Mart for $1/pair), wrapped in vet wrap and covered that with Gorilla tape. I changed it every 3 days (3 times). Two inch vet wrap is perfect for tiny hooves. Penny is back to normal now. Despite flattering this stuff on 4 hooves 3 different times, there's still a lot left. I have another donkey I'm going to try this on for his frogs. I will update on his condition once treatment is complete.

Mixed results
The horse I have been riding for the past 5 years has always had very sensitive soles, especially after a trim. I've noticed over the past year he has become even more sensitive when riding on the trail. There are lots of small rocks and avoiding them is almost impossible. So after many painful rides with him tip toeing through the trail I decided to try Magic Cushion. I used it for the first time a couple weeks ago, applied it exactly as instructions said to. I let it dry for one hour before I saddled up and went for a ride. It seemed to work very well as he rode like nothing bothered him. Great! Well I did it again the other day and after about 10 minutes into my ride I saw the stuff fly right out of his front hooves, as soon as we got to the more rocky part of the trail my poor guy started stumbling over every single tiny stone. So this stuff works good if you can get it to stay in for the duration of the ride. I might have packed too much in, which is why it came out - maybe less works better and will stay in longer. I'm going to experiment and try some other things as well. I wish the magic cushion would stay in better. I've seen people use duct tape to seal it in, but not sure you can do that if you plan on riding. Maybe I need to get some boots.

Perfect for horses stuck in stalls at shows
Love and Hate this stuff. Love it because it is great for the horse's hooves. Provides the support they need not only while stuck in the stall at a show. It also provides extra support when the arena footing is jacked up from the summer humidity. Hate it because it is gross and sticks to everything. (Granted I am the mom and not the rider and have zero clue what I am doing. So leave application to the professionals, kids that ride and the trainers.)

Recommended by my farrier
Have an older OTTB who is shod and rarely has problems with his feet. He was foot sore after a long trail ride during very dry weather. The ground was hard. No sign of abscess or other problem. I couldn't figure it out. Farrier recommended this stuff for about 10 days. It is messy to put on but not bad with rubber gloves. Have them step on dust or sawdust after it is packed in well. Stayed in his hooves decently. I did not have to repack him everyday. I was skeptical but it worked!! I would buy it and use again should the occasion arise .
