BRIGHT LIGHT, BIG CITY
The original bulb for my range hood is no longer available for sale in my state, and Amazon is restricted from sending it as well. I found this bulb to be a suitable alternative. The bulb does everything it is supposed to do, and the price is right. There is one caveat. By its description, the bulb is much brighter than expected. If you are looking for this application and need a bright light, this is for you.

Bright bulb
Bulb was fine. Used in a bookcase as an overhead light but it was brighter than existing bulb so if being used in sync with other bulbs, buy as many total that you need so they are all the same brightness.

Very smart design
It works nice with my Broan allure hood and dimms fine to low med high . A bit bright for my new stainless steel stovetop but solved by sliding a liece of typing paper . 💕

Bright with nice natural color temperature
Using these over my stovetop in the ventilation hood. Like the bright but full warm color spectrum that these bulbs put out. Unfortunately the dimmer design for incandescent bulbs really did not function well with this bulb design. Estimate only a 10% decrease in brightness where my older bulb had a 50% in brightness. They definitely operate at a lower physical temperature than the old bulbs. You could burn yourself on the old incandescent bulbs. Overall I would not hesitate recommending as long as you don't require a dimming function.

Bright, cool and good quality
Bought these to replace a bunch of halogen bulbs in my kitchen curios that not only cost more but use much more electricity to operate and also generate heat. The light from these bulbs is brighter and warm white. They make curios look brighter and beautiful without heat. Highly recommended.
