Good product
The Kit arrived and was easy to install the lighting comes on a roll and is sticky backed which meant we were able to stick it to the back of all of our desks and Units. It works with the app iLintek home / smart life which is excellent for us because we use their software for other lights, so its great to have others products that connect to the same. The App is straightforward to use you push the connect button the Add device on the app it will ask you to add your Wifi info into the app, this then links the LED Strip to the App then you can be anywhere in the world and access your lighting and also setup timers to automatically turn on night and day. You can then link iLintek home into your AMAZON ECHO, very easy, and the app gives you step by step. Very pleased with the lighting the colours are so bright and accent the office amazingly. These would look amazing in a bedroom especially a Gaming workspace as you can see our office is very Gamespace looking. If you have your home cinema, you could put these along the wall for that Cineworld look. So let's get the Low down: PROS: - Easy to install on a sweet roll no need to connect tons of little LEDs - The Lighting has an Adhesive strip on it make it easy to attach to Furniture and Walls - Easy to connect to Alexa and Google Home. CONS: - Have to be very careful when going around curves not to damage this its a very fragile circuit board. - The adhesive isn't as strong as it could be. So to conclude this is the best lighting equipment. If your in any doubt on how to get a futuristic look to a kids bedroom or Gaming Room then this is it, perfect value kit with everything you need to get going.

Great Product, backed by a Friendly Company!
I was in the market for some budget, Echo-connected LEDs for behind my TV Cabinet at home. Initially, I was on the fence with these due to the proprietary App, and how difficult it might have been to use following reading some of the other reviews, but decided to take the leap and pay for the risk later. Unfortunately, upon receiving the item, one section of the strip had a faulty Red LED - meaning a portion of the entire strip would either not turn on, or not match the rest of the length. However, I got in touch with iLintek's Customer Support, with my issue being handled by Alicia. Within the first response, I'd had a brand new order being sent to myself, next day. Now, with a fully functioning item, it was clear that my concerns about the app were ill-set! Whilst I still don't understand the function of the "Scenes" section of the interface, the process for pairing up the Lights to the app itself was easy! Instructions are also very clear when operating on a 5GHz Wifi band, and took no longer than using the normal, 2.4GHz pairing process. Once they were paired, it was just as simple to enable integration with the Alexa app too! Overall, the brightness and range of colours these LEDs have are fantastic - much better than many of the other strips I've purchased, and are easily comparable to the quality of colour much more expensive options such as Hue and LIFX, with an app that's simple enough to understand, albeit with some slight improvements needing implemented around the "scenes" section. For £25, I can't complain!

Great lighting, one drawback ...
I have bought two of these now, one used in the kitchen, the other just installed on a roof terrace. I find them easy to install and setup using the Lumary app and easy to interface to Alexa. Adhesion is very good, the kitchen ones have been up a year under a cupboard which regularly gets steam from the kettle and its all fine. Lights are very bright, especially on white and colours are rich, with the exception of yellow which is rather greeny. The one drawback is if you need to cut the strip to work around something (eg the pillar in the photo, around the cooker etc) it is necessary to solder 6 wires from one strip to the next - I used 6 core alarm cable. This works fine, but is very fiddly to do as the connections are tiny. There are some connection strips you can buy but I found them too flimsy. The Lumary app gives more control than Alexa, it would be good if the Alexa skill could include a few more fetaures like setting and labeling custom colour settings, Lumary gives you 16 million colours, Alexa gives you 16 only. The 'Music' setting is great fun, instant disco lights! Overall a great product, bar the fiddly joining of strips if needed.

Really good and great price - genuine review, I actually bought them!
So I was all ready to buy the Philips Hue Lightstrip at £69.99 from Argos then came across a product video review for this item, at a third of the price of Philips I decided to give them a go and boy am i glad I did, great quality, bright, loads of colours, and modes and you get three times the length of the Hue. What's there not to like !! I was so impressed with them the very same evening I bought the 2 metre extension kit and added that, now have a lovely ambient lights around the bookcase in my lounge, was a tad problematic to set up though, didnt seem to register on my phone but installed the app on my tablet and worked fine and now working on both, make sure you have dual 2.5gh and 5gh set up and you should be fine. I love em and honestly this isn't a paid review or one where i got the product free !! I bought them and want other to know how good they are for the price. I know on Amazon now some of the reviews for products are not entirely honest. So glad I didnt spend nearly seventy quid on Philips for just 2metres, cost me around £46 to get a whopping 7m so what you waiting for, buy them they are great.

Probably the best reasonably priced LED strip on amazon
Usually I don't bother reviewing products like this but this one deserves it. Pros: - LED density. Strips have 90 LEDs per metre - 30 RGB + 30 Cold whit + 30 Warm White *** - Works with Smart Life app so you don't need to install another app - Works with Google Home app (obviously) - Pairing is dead easy. Plug in, select "+" in Smart Life, job done - Lights are powerful and I mean it. - Strip is sealed in this clear jelly/silicone kind of stuff so it looks like is waterproof as well - Clear sealant also serves another purpose - works as diffuser - Very fast to operate from the app - After power cut it will go to one of 3 pre-set options: Initial mode, custom setting, last used (which is the most important) - After power cut light turns on in about half a second - so it can be operated by classic light switch*** - Since this is RGB + Warm White + Cold White you can set literally any colour you want. Colour vibrance (CRi I mean) it seems to be pretty high. I do have some Cri 90 and Cri 80 bulbs. This strip seems to be somewhere in between. I would say CRi about 85-87 which is extremely good result as industry standard is only 80. - Smart life is absolutely full of options. Scheduler can set specific brightness and colour at any time, sunset, sunrise etc. The only thing I couldn't find is to set scheduler to run "rainbow" effect at specific time. Could be there, I just couldn't find how to do it. - 5 metre strip power consumption at 100% brightness is max 13W on any shade of white, max 14W in RGB mode. Power consumption changes with colours. 1% brightness (which I'm using for TV backlight) consumes only 1.7W - Idle power consumption while connected to WiFi and paired with smatlife and google is only 0.5W which is exactly what it should be with current regulations. - LED strip can be cut every 10cm (not like RGBIC) - Strip comes with 6pin connectors on both ends which is really handy if you want to join two of them. Power plug seems to be powerful enough for it as it's rated 24W. Bear in mind that brightness will obviously drop like it always does due to length (nothing to do with this light, just physics). If you plan to join them you really need to power them in the middle (by a splitter). So you gonna have 5m - power brick - 5m. Cons (not exactly but worth to mention) - Strip needs to be connected to WiFi cause if not it will flash rapidly (unsure if can be switch off somehow) - It can run only RGB or White. Can't do both at the same time - again, unsure if this can be switched, maybe some setting in the app. Not much of a problem since lights are so bright

Highs & Lows
Was initially very impressed with the quality out of the box however things went a bit downhill from there. I purchased two sets of these lights (1x 3m & 1x 2m) with the intention of installing them to the underside of my kitchen units. Prior to installation I temporarily connected them whilst in the box to a power supply and I have to say they appeared to work brilliantly. Pairing them to the Smart Life app was a doddle too although the app is quite simplistic and in my opinion clunky. The 2m strip went up underneath my first unit without issue. I chose to install the strips within aluminium tracks so as to better protect them against the usual kitchen variables. The main problem started on the 3m strip. Having installed the track and subsequent strip within the track I couldn't power up the strip without intentionally bending the strip at the point at which the power connected. As a professional electrician this indicated to me that there was a fault within the plug that connects the power to the strip. Disappointment. I instigated a return to Amazon (being a third party seller Amazon were unable to deal with the problem directly) and began to strip out the installation in order to rebox everything and send it back (at the expense of my time). As I peeled the strip out of its track (not easy as the backing tape is very good) I noticed an identical plug at the opposite end of the strip. I connected the power supply to the opposite end of the strip and it immediately worked!! I have subsequently cancelled the return and finished the installation of the lighting strips. This strip (3m) was unquestionably defective and that is why I have marked the star rating down to 3. If it wasn't for my profession I would have struggled to reach the desired conclusion. Having accepted that I have to say that, for the money, these strips are pretty good. Connection to Google Home is ok, connection to the Smart Life app was ok too. The colours are very varied and they do look neat (especially within the aluminium track).

Decent , bright and very smart light strip
Very bright, has true white lighting along with warm and cold lighting and the obviously RGB(multi-colour) lighting. The adhesive is okay but where you need to shape the light strip round a bend or a corner it doesn't really stick, but included are little brackets that can be screwed in place to hold it down which is a good addition and more of a permanent solution in my opinion compared to the adhesive. Connected to my smart life app which also allows you to add it to your Google home which allows for you to switch on your lighting with voice commands which is why I got this lighting strip, and I can say it works like a charm. You an change the brightness and colour by voice which is very useful, exactly what I needed.

Buy a different brand if you want to group them with another set of the same brand
Do not buy these lights if you plan to use them as a group with another set of the exact same manufacturers lights I bought two sets of these from amazon both manufactured, packaged, branded and sold by the same company, One set was 5mts One set was 3mts I struggled to get them to register on the WiFi but i did manage it Although both sets of lights can be controlled within the same app both sets of lights have a different firmware and both lights use a complete different interface to be controlled, i followed the instructions to the letter to try and group both sets together within the app so that both sets would switch on and off plus change colour together.....oh no, even though they are are advertised as being able to be grouped there is not a chance that they will work anything other than independent. I dare say if I had bought 2x 3 Mr or 2x 5mt they would group as they would both have the same firmware. Contacted the company and they basically told me to follow the manuals chinglish instructions to group. Seriously, do they think I went rogue and decided to try and make up my own rules for grouping the items, save your money and buy cheaper, the extra cost just is not worth it

Prodotto medio
