Update: I've been using this for two months now, and I have to say for me at least, this stuff is pure magic. And I've only used half of the jar, so their claim that one jar will last 3-6 months is true! Everyone's body chemistry is different of course, so your results may vary. I'd give it six stars if I could. (original review below) I've tried a few "natural" deodorant alternatives over the years, but none were as effective as an aluminum-based antiperspirant. But after one of those bleached the armpits of a new tee shirt, I decided to search again. This stuff is the first I've ever tried that actually works, and in fact it works =better= than my antiperspirant! I've found I can go at least a couple days before needing to reapply. The scent is very nice, though you can't really tell until you've worn it for a bit, because it's activated by the warmth of your skin. Even then, it's quite subtle, which I like. This one goes on rather grey due to the activated charcoal, but becomes invisible shortly afterwards. And for the first time in my life, my armpits aren't red with irritation! And it works great on my toes too, to keep my sandals from getting foot-funky (TMI, but valuable info to pass on if you have that problem too).

i love the smell and i love natural deodorant but even though i properly seal the pot after each use it kinda dried out? i can still use it, its just not as creamy as it was when i got it

I searched highs and lows for a suitable deodorant and honestly THIS MIGHT FINALLY BE THE ONE. It made my old ocd habits return slightly from how much I want to shower daily (yes I was diagnosed with it). I have a slight sensitivity to baking soda so I might switch to the baking-soda free but it hasn't ruined my armpits or anything. Just a little tickle and that's it so I only apply smaaaaall amount. It truly goes a loooong way and it does cover odors that you thought would never go away. Definitely recommend!! Worth every penny. Can I just add how I love the packaging too? It has a vibe of its own (or i am a sucker for wolves).

Not only is this brand the best natural deodorant BY FAR, but somehow the managed to even out-do themselves with this particular Moon Sisters blend. The scent is wonderful and mild, and works well for women or men (I'm a man), as it's not *too much* of anything, but wonderful all the same.

Love routine deodorant but this one was just ok The smell is very mild but did not work as well as johnny cash and the class.

I've been using this Routine deodorant for years. Many years ago, the "Moon Sisters" formula was lovely. It had a nice mild scent and worked really well. Then the packaging changed a bit...it was a different color label and since then, the scent is overpowering, especially when you've had it on all day and sweat a little. I emailed the company and they denied it, but it was obvious as the label changed and the scent became strong. The Moon Sisters blend is very noticeable all day long and after a while the scent starts making me ill. I'm embarrassed thinking others can smell the scent of my deodorant as well. In addition to that, the oil in this Moon Sisters blend started almost staining the armpits of some of my white tops. I then changed to the "Like a Boss" formula from Routine that uses baking soda instead of charcoal and oil. This product is so much better as the deodorant works just as well and doesn't have that nasty smell without leaving residue on my clothing. The product is excellent and I highly recommend it, but for me, the Like a Boss is a much better choice. Check out their website as well as they sell small samples and perhaps you want to try that as they mention that for some, the baking soda can be irritable.

This is the only natural product that actually works. I have tried everything. You still sweat bout absolutely zero smell. This flavor is pretty gender neutral so my girlfriend and I share it. Highly recommended. A little weird at first putting it on with your fingers but def easy to get used to.
