It's not very Earl Grey at all, actually. The bergamot flavor is not even detectable. That being said, it is a delicious tea! The Malva flowers they add to this make it aromatic without overpowering the tea. And the tea is smooth and well balanced. I drink this tea either plain or with the tiniest hint of sugar (it brings out the floral flavors). Im a loose leaf girl, but this is definitely one of my favorite bagged teas. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent! I really like Earl Grey tea, and have tried many, both loose leaf and bagged. This is the best I have ever had, and I have it on "subscribe and save". I just made a little pot of it a few minutes ago. :)They call this type of bag a "pyramid" bag. We are science and math geeks in this house, so we call them what they actually are: tetrahedrons. Yeah....that counts as fun for us. Heehee. But seriously, get this tea. The flavor is so smooth and the aroma makes me happy. I find the bergamot in this like the "life" in Monty Python's parrot "e's not dead, only 'sleeping' ". Subtle. Very subtle. Extremely subtle. It's so subtle, I can't taste the bergamot at all. Perhaps I'm just missing it, or maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know.As for the black tea itself, it's perfectly fine, smooth, nice bit of body. For an unprepossessing black tea, this hits the spot. I'm more of a  Davidson's Tea Bulk, Earl Grey, 16-Ounce Bag  fan, where the bergamot is bold and up front. The Davidson's also seems to have more "body", perhaps the organic black tea helps.If you like subtle and understated, the Novus may be your cup of tea.
