A: No

**Q: Is this an oem part made by pentair or is it a generic gasket**
A: Mine came from PST Pool Supplies and says "Generic" on the package. 
Pentair is not stated anywhere on the package or picking ticket. Very disappointing. The Amazon description (on-line) says by Pentair - how does that happen.?  
On the package...."Gasket, PacFab/AmProd/Pent 2" MPV, 6-5/8"OD, 5 Spokes, Generic"

**Q: Will this work on my 2 inch 27-3208 Purex triton multi-port value? If not, what gasket do I need please?**
A: Part number 27-3208 is for the replacement valve label. That label is for the Pentair 261055  2 inch side mount valve that would take gasket 271148.

**Q: Does this fit pentair sm-20-2 multi port? (only answer if you do know the answer please)**
A: Yes, I used for my Pentair sm20-2 multi-port. I understand it fits both the top and side mount models.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed pool leak

I rarely write reviews but this gasket worked great in fixing my pool leak problems. I had previously replaced the valve that was 8 years old but my old gasket looked ok so I left it in. Mistake. Always replace this gasket when a pool leak is in play. Took a little while to get old gasket out and area cleaned up but was a simple fix. Installed new gasket (smooth side down) with a little gasket adhesive on smooth side and a little lubricant on ridge side. Reinstalled valve and noticed right away it was harder to press down to install than before. (Good sign that old gasket was wore out). Let it set for 24 hours for adhesive to fully set up. I was previously seeing a small amount of water coming out of backwash pipe even when pump was off. Now I don’t see any. 2 days since install of new gasket and pool has not lost any water. Problem solved with a $13 gasket whereas pool company would have charged hundreds to come out and fix it.
