I bought this for my garage and it has absolutely transformed it. A really great product at an unbelievable price. When first opening the box for the corner unit, the number of pieces made assembly look daunting but you need to take time, study the instructions (which admittedly are not the clearest thing in the world) and it becomes apparent after a while. Once worked out, assembly is a breeze and it all goes together very well. Having mastered the corner unit the other two racks are easy using the same method.

This comes flat-packed but it's easy enough to put it together. The use of a mallet is recommended, but a hammer with the head covered in thick cardboard or a cloth works just as well. The assembled unit looks good and is sturdy, but the thin shelving boards curl and warp at the first sign of damp. At some point, I will replace them with something thicker.

At first I was a bit overwhelmed on how I was going to put this up, but once you get started its all quite easy, it required a few hours to build, but once it was built it fit in the corner perfectly. The shelves are not as deep as I had hoped but that was due to me not taking notice of the depth measurements that are given. All in all these are good value for money, sturdy and easy to assemble. You probably could get away with not having a rubber mallet, however i did find it handy on occasions as the fittings on some of the uprights are quite tight.

I needed a heavy duty corner shelving unit for my garden shed. I put together the flat pack and stacked the shelves with tools, paint, electrical equipment etc.The shelving unit looked ‘great’ and I expected it would last for years - see first photo. I rarely use the shed these days. but I went to the shed recently, and was very disappointed to find that whilst the blue frame still looks ‘great’, the actual shelves have gone a bit mouldy, warped and sunk down through the frame so everything on the shelves is now sitting in a little hollow. In some cases the MDF shelves are now sitting on whatever is on the shelf below - see second photo.In short, once the blue frame is put together it is sturdy and durable and I would give it 5 stars for that. Where the product falls down is the “super smooth solid 5.5mm MDF shelves” are not really fit for purpose for a garage or a shed and I am giving it 1 star for the shelves… hence my ‘middle of the road’ 3 star overall rating.As a caveat I would expect the same shelves, inside the home where it’s generally always warm and dry, would last for years… but most garages and sheds just aren’t always like that.

I bought these for my shed at the same time I bought some Vonhaus shelving for my garage as the Vonhaus did not do the size and shape to fit my shed so on the up side they are cheaper, available in more sizes, are easy to assemble and have coped very well with all the junk I have piled on them.On the not so good they are definitely not the quality of the Vonhaus as the metal bends quite easily and the wooden shelves are thinner. The 3 sections could really do with being connected together somehow, It only takes a few 6mm nuts and bolts and I read other buyers have done the same so why not just include some in the pack. The tangs that hold the all the metal parts together sometimes poke out the front of the frames as you tap them though the slots (although I had this problem with both sets of shelving).
