This is my husbands chair! He wanted a recliner and I wanted him to have one! However, I didn’t want a puffy leather chair taking over the room. This chair is perfect- lower profile than most, beautiful leather and well made. Comfort and modern design. Lovely addition to our home.

If you are looking for a recliner do not buy this chair unless you are short, 5’5 or less. I am 5’7” and when reclining there is no support for your head & your feet hang off the foot rest which makes my feet go to sleep. It’s an ok chair to just sit in but not for reclining! One of our chairs arrived with a broken base & getting warranty service was not easy but eventually they did come & replace the base. The technician that replaced it didn’t test it & it turned out to be defective, won’t lock into place like it’s supposed to. I tried to get warranty service again but it was just to much hassle, they never followed up & I got tired of messing with the back store. I definitely do not recommend them as a seller. The good thing about these chairs are that they are all leather & the leather is high quality. The color renditions are off though, we were expecting a saddle tan color & these are more of a taupe color. We ended up going to a local furniture store & buying new furniture, this purchase was an expensive mistake!!

Positives: Nice contemporary design. It wasn't easy to find a leather recliner that also swivels and doesn't have a puffy overstuffed look.Negatives: The color and quality of the leather doesn't match the photo on Amazon. Based on the photo I was expecting an aniline-dyed leather and this leather is much more like a bonded leather. I could live with that except I was expecting a warm golden-toned tan color and the chair I received is a pale milky tan color. The photo on Amazon does not have the plastic piece on the side of the chair which (on the chair I received) is the only way to release the foot rest. It's not the clean design look I was expecting and I'm a bit concerned about the durability of plastic for this function. I think the vendor, the Back Store, should update their photo on Amazon to reflect the actual chair they are delivering. Also, the foot rest releases easily but it's very difficult to get it to close. It's difficult for me and when a friend sat in the chair she couldn't get up until I helped her close the foot rest by pushing it very hard for her while she was sitting in it.Other Issues: I ordered this chair on 02/21/2022. On 03/18/2022 the wrong chair was sent to my address. I spoke to an Amazon CS Rep at that time, and based on her advice I did not accept delivery of the chair. However, my Amazon order history shows that the chair was delivered on 03/18/2022. I requested that the chair be replaced with the correct item and finally my chair was delivered on 04/25/2022 - but according to Amazon I missed the return window. Twice I requested that the order delivery date be corrected but so far it hasn't been updated. I have exchanged messages with CS Reps from the Back Store but I have not been able to have an in-person conversation with anyone since the replacement chair was delivered. This was a very expensive purchase for me and I'm very frustrated!

It took a few weeks to get here but WOW, I love this chair. It’s small and stylish- a little lighter color than the pictures, but still matches the way I wanted to. Heavy, but super easy to put together...arrived attached to a pallet.

Took me a while to figure out how to get the foot rest to lock. It is fine now.

I've had this chair for four years and loved it but when the cable broke I bought the expensive replacement part from Fjords and then found out there are no instruction manuals for this model. They sent me some generic instructions but the pictures do not match my model. I live in a major metro area and can't find any furniture repair shops familiar with this brand. Very disappointing given how expensive these recliners are that the company is so unprepared to support customers.

Well built and very comfortable. Well worth the money

Bought this chair through a leather store and when I need another chair in my home I will be putting the money down on another. Well worth the money. Leave it to the Nords to design greatness.
