DC Men's Syntax Skate Shoe

These meet expectations for sure. Very comfortable. I've actually gotten a few compliments, unexpectedly. They seem a little bit unique, in a good way. The tongue isn't overly thick/big like some DCs. They are a bit firm, but that was expected with skate shoes. Very satisfied.

The OG - DC shoes Syntax was my favorite shoe when I was a kid. The Remake here is a tad different from the original from what can remember.. but this version too well is a very good skate shoe that I think looks dope. It's my staple skateboarding workhorse go to DC once again. So I coped a few and you should too, chea.

Not as padded as I had hoped. Recently bought some Es Accell OG and they are much more padded, but did not hold up well. These will hold up much better due to the materials used. Fit well and style is nice. Just wish they were like the late 90s DC shoes that I remember skating as a teenager.

These shoes run a little small. I would normally wear a size 11. However, this style of shoe has a very thick tongue which makes the fit tight. So I needed to go up to a size 12. Otherwise, it's a great and very comfortable shoe! Hope this helps.

I wear these shoes everyday. I love them. They are excellent for playing hacky sack, and doing everyday stuff. I love they style! Best pair of shoes I have ever owned. They are durable as well.

These shoes have the right feel on top of a skateboard.

The rubber around the tip of the shoe is dried out and started cracking about 2 months in. Now at six months the shoe's are fubar. There is only thin felt material behind this rubber so the cold air and water gets through making these shoe's worthless. Too bad because every other part of the shoe is perfect....

There is a bit too much fabric flexibility around the front of the foot, causing the shoe to sometimes rotate on you when getting into nose picks, crooks, ect.The sole lasts a while, but took forever to break in since it has such crisp edges in it... I tried breaking these in bowl skating and could not really feel my board and kept sliding off until the crisp edges eventually rounded over and they broke in.Overall I guess it's a decent shoe. Definitely still durable, though the OG version was way better fitting and took alot less time to break in for skating. The new soles are not as good as the old ones. A higher heel may also help to keep the shoe from rotating so much or coming off as easy. You can do better DC! The OG Syntax and Lynx are 2 of my favorite shoes, but the reissues have changed to lower quality mimics of them. I am afraid to try the new Kalis versions now too... I bought some etnies to hold me over till dc gets their heads back into the game with good SKATE shoes and not just fashion.
