Great addition to any multi use ladder. Fits my Werner MT-22IAAL model. The way it's built I cant imagine it not working on any ladder. Seems like it is quite universal for different models. I can stand on this and i weigh over 300 and it feels stiff and i am confident on it. I can rotate 360 degrees standing on it and not worry about it. I domt feel like the lower or the upper section is iffy at all. I like that I can move it to where I need it. It drastically reduces foot fatigue from standing on the narrow rungs of thr multi use ladder. I could stand it this all day long. Stores between the top rung inside when folded up. And it won't come out when moving it around. I can also use it to store paint cans or tools on on the opposite side when standing on the ladder. Might buy a second one for this so I can stand on it as well. Its just all around generally useful. It should just come as a standard part of multi use ladders. Edit: I have come to require this comes with my multi ladder now. It creates additional positions of the ladder you can place. For example, I one time had to set my ladder a very specific way and out stretch the leveler to keep the ladder level. This made it awkward standing on the rungs. However with this and because you can stand on it and rotate 360°, it allows you conformable work in which you normally could not comfortably.

Currently painting the trim around my house. Started as a small project to replace a single board on the garage and expanded from there. With all the scraping, putty filler repairs, sanding, caulking, and 2 coats of primer I am spending a tremendous amount of time on my ladder. I have a 6' wide platform step ladder that is my go to when it's height is sufficient. But it doesn't reach much outside. Standing on the rungs of my extension ladder for long periods was painful to my feet and legs, in addition to not feeling very stable balancing on the narrow rungs. While perusing Amazon for a taller wide platform step ladder I came across this platform that could be used with my extension ladder. What an incredible game changer. I now stand on the platform for hours without the previous pain in my feet and legs. I also feel significantly more stable while working. Very simple to use, just set the bottom brace on the rung below where you want to stand and slide the platform over and inside the rung you want to stand on. Climb the ladder to the rung above and then with your foot reach down and slide the platform out. Very stable to stand flat footed. When finished reverse the process by stepping to rung above then reaching down with your foot slide the platform back inside the ladder out of your way. Then simply descend the ladder as normal. Much more comfortable than standing on the rung. I'm able to work for longer periods and actually accomplish alot more while up on the ladder. Very sturdy and well built. Definitely money well spent. So impressed I will purchase additional ones for family.

Don't be fooled by the scammers on the internet, like I was. I was so appreciative of the customer service by Little Giant after I realized I was fooled by a scammer. (Fyi never received scam platform, of course). This is the real deal Little Giant Ladder Platform. My husband says it works as stated and is much more comfortable on the arches of his feet. He said it took a couple of ups and downs the ladder to get used to it, but he is glad to have it.

This product has as many bad points as good ones. On the one hand, it is an excellent standing platform, whose weight-bearing capacity exceeds the ladder itself, and is very comfortable to stand on for extended periods of time (significantly more comfortable than standing on Little Giant's regular ladder rails). It also is a necessity if you want to break your Little Giant into 2 separate ladder components to create 'scaffolding' using their extendible planks. Without it, the two inside pieces of ladder can't make the 'A-Frame' necessary to behave like a ladder (which it is NOT, even when using the work platform in this mode). On the negative side, it is a real pain climbing above the rung where the platform rests (hides), which you have to do before "kicking" the platform out away from the ladder in order to stand on it. Same goes after kicking it back in, so you can go back down the ladder. Secondly, this platform is only horizontal if you have the ladder in its symmetrical A-Frame setup. One of the things I love about my Little Giant is that you can make one side of the ladder longer than the other, which makes the ladder get right up against the wall, with the shorter side now being nearly vertical. The problem is that in this configuration, The work platform is no longer horizontal, so if you are using it as a shelf to hold things as you stand on the opposite side of the ladder, everything will slide off. If you try to stand on the platform in this tilted mode, you risk losing your footing, or even your balance. Little Giant should have thought this through a little better before releasing the product to market. WHAT? They didn't think people might want to use the platform with the ladder in "wall-hugging" mode? I spend a third of my time with the ladder set up in this way, and then I can't safely use the platform. (By the way this deficiency also applies to their project tray--both MAJOR engineering design flaws). I hope someone at Little Giant is reading/listening to these complaints/suggestions (I've already called customer support about these and other accessory product deficiencies). If they don't, someone (like me?) is going to make products for this huge customer base that can work in all ladder configurations. Still, there are no other alternatives to this product. So get it, and hope someone comes along soon with one that does what this one should.

This is a knee, back, and foot saver if you're going to be on the ladder for any length of time doing work so much nicer to have a wide platform versus just the rung on your feet. Definitely go watch The Little Giant video of how to use it. But once you've done it once or twice it makes a lot of sense. Solidly built will last many years unless you really abuse it

The quality of manufacture is so bad. It looked like a piece of junk previously abused. Welding was amateurish and ugly. It’s a million miles from their ladders and step stools which are excellent and well made. I have 3 of those.
