Very Impressive and does it's job well when days are cold.
A very effective dehumidifier which does not rely on a warm ambient temperature to work. It absolutely reduces humidity levels, steamy landings after showers and baths are easily rectified, neat and easy to use. The only slight negative is the very brittle build of the reservoir which feels as though it is trying it's best not to snap, it really lets the unit down. Overall very pleased, and a good unit.

Great moisture absorber
The best dehumidifier I've had. Packs a load of suction power, meaning in very humid room such as mine at the time (20-25C, 60-70% RH) it could bring it down to 40% RH easily. In small or more dry spaces and areas it is probably too much to keep on all the time as the desiccant design makes it able to remove moisture in relatively dry humidity levels as well. The full power is quite loud but effective. The item has a compressor which means it blows out heated dry air constantly, something to keep in mind. The lowest setting works well in most applications and is relatively quiet (but not really silent), it can most likely even dry out the whole apartment if kept on continuously for a long time (did that when the effect was too big on a single room). The tank is 2L and in humid places or full power prepare to empty it quite often. It works really well because of the desiccant design. The only problem with the desiccant disk is that it absorbs smells and particles quite effectively which in turn comes out as warm air from the blower. I accidentally spilled essential oil in my room which got sucked by the dehumidifier from the air and long after the oil was cleaned from the room the same smell still kept coming out from the item. I tried to fix this issue by running it on full power outside (guidance from manual) but the problem didn't seem to go away after trying this a while. Perhaps a long time like this would have made a difference but I can assume that certain particles and smells probably can't be removed from the dehumidifier's disk which is irremovable unfortunately. If this isn't a problem, I would recommend it, especially if it's on sale.

Brilliant item
Wow one if the best purchases I have made. Our conservatory suffered very badly from condensation and was ruining our furniture. Got this and can't believe the difference even with only using once a day for an hour, no condensation! Quality item with a good price, not the cheapest but much cheaper than the expensive names. Easy to use and move around. Noise levels ok. I also live how it emits a nice level of heat at same time.

This unit is real little helper.
This unit is a real little helper for our family. And for a family of five we do have a lot of laundry to do. So at some stage I invested in an electrical DrySoon dryer, which is perfect by the way. Down side of it is the humidity it creates during process in the room, where it is located. We tried everything - dehumidifying cases/patches/pots. Until I tried a cheap version of electrical dehumidifier and it worked. Being cheap, it did last only a warranty period and the performance of it was not great but it did the trick of collecting humidity from the room. So when it broke down, and after some research, I decided to buy this version of the appliance. So let's get down to the point. 1st - It's not cheap, main factor for me at the time of purchase was affordable 2nd - It's not small but not to bulky either. Compact, not heavy and easy to carry around with the handle provided, if required to do so. 3rd - The noise level is not below expected, but not as quiet as you might hope for it to be. The sound it emits is not annoying and to me is even calming. To describe it with relatively closest comparison - it is as loud as a strong air fan. But again, it's a utility unit. 4th - It produces some heat as result of working elements within the unit. 5th - The setting is straight forward and easy to understand. Has a timer mode, eco mode for energy efficiency and deioniser to clear the air. But the best part is that this unit will stop operating if humid level drops or it's collection tank is full so no exssessive energy bills. Also there's option for it to be connected to the drain so you don't have to empty the container every time it is filled to the top. Small drain tube comes with it. 6th - It really works! My previous unit would collect two litres of humid in a week or two. This one I have to empty almost every day. And I collect the deionised water for my ironing and dry clean steamer. As before I used to buy deionised water to avoid scale build up on heating elements, now I just collect it in the empty canister and use it even for my car screen wash mixture. 7th - Main factor for me and the reason I decided to buy it - 2 year warranty period. As my last unit only had 6 months warranty, according to Amazon, and it dropped dead just after 8th. This unit, being twice as expensive, would last me over 2yrs. At least that is what the warranty promises. I hope this review would be helpful and will answer your questions if anyone has any. Will update my review, if required, to help others with their choice. Kind Regards.

Stopped working after 18 months
Worked well in my log-cabin for 18 months then stopped with no obvious cause. This dehumidifier has a 2-year warranty (having completed their warranty form after purchase) but so far inventor have failed to reply to any communications via their website. I note this item is no longer sold by Amazon.

Amazing desiccant dehumidifier
Omg, why did I not buy one sooner? It has sorted my window condensation problem in the conservatory. If I leave overnight for 8 hrs, it also reduces the condensation in all the other rooms too. Tried it with laundry on turbo, and yes, clothes dry quicker! The desiccant gives out warm air so the conservatory is also warmer. Iโve emptied everyday, the only issue is that I wish it would have a bigger water tank. Will check electricity bill in a month, but this really has helped with condensation and hoping with the mould too. Worth giving ii a go if you are in a similar situation.
