As described
A tee this size (1"x1"x1/4") is difficult to source locally unless you want galvanized. I used it to replace a deep well assembly. The 1/4" side is useful for running a line to the well pump pressure switch for an auxiliary yard hydrant. I forget where this was manufactured but I don't think it was made in China and seems to be of good enough quality.I used 4 wraps of PTFE tape and thread sealant and didn't have any leaks.

it's ok, but took some sealing effort
Used to attach a water pressure dial meter to a 1" household supply line. Quality isn't amazing for sure, and it took a few attempts to get a good seal (tried teflon paste, dope and eventually used 4 layers of teflon tape but that seemed to work on the 1" threads. The 1/4" was better and worked with teflon paste.

Hard to find
Nice that this is available. I used this to tape into the line feeding out softener in order to connect my garage icemaker

DONT, DONT, DONT!!! (And if you do, you were warned!)
This was exactly what I needed to install some gauges. Cutt the copper, soldered in the MNPT adaptors, and installed these..... They leaked. So, took it all apart, thinking maybe I just did a poor taping job, reaped, reassembled...Nope. still seeping. Took it apart again... Taped & Doped, reassembled. Nope. Contacted another plumber. Seems these are Chinese quality with casting seams and they can't really be sealed. So, hours & hours wasted and I had to build the system without the gauges to get it working. Customer not happy. Will have to find alternate fittings to go back and install the gauges later.... BECAUSE oF THESE!!!

Not as described or shown, but still quality
This is a 1" x 1" x 1/4" T (1" both ends) rather than a 1" x 1" elbow with the 1/4" on the opposite end of the T. We can still use and it appears quality brass, but would have preferred what was shown.
