Peppers,Cherry,Whole

it seems like about a year ago hot cherry peppers disapeared from all the local grocery stores that i go to.i searched far and wide until i found your products on line and saw that you have the hot cherry peppers.the ones i got before were from a different company so i wondered if there would be a differents in flavor and texture.a lot of the peppers i got in the past were very mushy and soft .so i ordered two 16 oz bottles from cento hoping for the best.they showed up early.very well packaged. so i opened up a jar and pulled out a red pepper as they are usually she soft ones.and to my surprize i took a bite and it just popped in my mouth with the perfect crispness.it tasted fantastic but the best part was 5 minutes later when i could still feel the heat in my mouth. the perfect amount of after burn with out being to hot.exactly what i was looking for. quite possibly the best peppers ever. thank you so very much. i will be placing another order very soon.cento is the real deal. thanks again.

What can I say, I grew up eating these! Growing up in a Sicilian family in Boston, there was always a very large jar o Cento whole hot cherry peppers in the fridge. Even at like 7 years old I'd wake up in the middle of the night, go downstairs, butter a couple of slices of Wonder bread, get a few of these puppies, slice them up, and eat them with little bites of buttered bread in between. They have a little bit of heat (don't be scared, they're not super hot, but they do have a little kick!), vinegary-ness, and peppery crunch that's just so satisfying. It also pairs really well with beef or lamb kebabs (if anyone grew up in the Boston area and knows Santarpio's, you know EXACTLY what I mean!). Now living in Seattle, they bring a little bit of home to my midnight cravings, and I can only (so far) find them on Amazon. :) ...because for some reason in the pacific northwest, they don't like good eats... :D

These are the best pickled cherry peppers on the market. It’s not even close. These are crisp, crunchy and fresh. They are HOT. If you’re from NJ, NY, or PA and are Italian American these are what you remember. I haven’t found anything that compares to these.

Delicious and pleasantly hot. I bought these due to difficulty finding whole cherry peppers locally. They seem to be pricey for the small-ish, 2x16 ounce jars. I'd like to find larger jars at a friendlier price.

Nice and firm flesh with great flavor and hot enough to add that spark to your homemade creations.

The seller just wrapped brown paper over the jars and shipped it out without any protection. One of the jars shattered and leaked all over! Highly disappointed and the product is overpriced. The photos look bigger than what it was.

Now that I've got your attention, I regret to disappoint: My "hot" memories consist of delicious, Italian meat sandwiches stacked with cheese, lettuce, and whatever else. The crowning glory, however, was the hot cherry peppers. What I love most about these peppers is that they're just hot enough to be piquant, but not intolerably hot, and despite being hot, the flavor comes through loud and clear. Yum!!! This is particularly refreshing these days, when the goal seems to be more and more heat regardless of the loss of flavor, or even enjoyment. Food is not supposed to be a macho sport. What good is hot if it doesn't taste good? If you're adverse to spicy foods, you will probably not enjoy these. On a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is like licking a blow torch (e.g. ghost peppers), I would rate the heat of these peppers 2 to 2.5, depending; the red ones are just a bit hotter than the green ones. If you're not lucky enough to have Italian products at your grocery store, this seller was very fast and at a very agreeable price. I will definitely order again.
