Worked great on my 2019 f-350. Before, my auto wipers wouldn’t work at all and noticed that the gel was all oxidized and gross. Carefully scraped it off, applied the new and it works great. Definitely wait a few minutes for it to start to cure before applying the sensor to the windshield so it doesn’t run.

Used this to reinstall my rain/light sensor on 2015 BMW X3. Works like new again. Auto wipers work and auto lights work perfect again.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased a used 2021 Kia Telluride SX AWD Nightfall Edition and of course about a week after delivery, a rain came through - and my automatic wipers did not. I had to keep using the mist function to get them working in a very light rain which is frustrating, when you’ve just purchased a vehicle and now must live with the issue - or investigate what’s malfunctioning and why.The forums for “problems” was truly disheartening because time and time again I read about electrical problems, and the Auto Wiper function, which is supposed to sense rainfall, wasn’t working at all. Then I learned through YouTube of this sensor, mounted just below the windshield. And mine was properly seated. And then I learned though digging some more, that these rain sensors need a gel, which removes the air gap and can make the unit function! With used vehicles, maybe it’s because the original windshield had been replaced and no one thought to properly seat the rain sensor? A search on Amazon turned up this gel kit, which needs a little assembly.Remove the sensor, make sure that the windshield hole is clean (this is important) and being the sensor inside to work at room temperature. The gel, which gets tacky rather fast (about 2 minutes at 70° F) has two different solutions, capped. A double plunger is included as well as a pipette like thing with squiggles inside which mix the solution after you attach it.Place your sensor on a place where it’s level. Grab a small baggie to test applying solution. There’s enough to do maybe 5 cars! Find a marble to make sure where it’s level and put your sensor there, and put the plastic baggie nearby as well. After assembling the device, squeeze the plunger to see how it will come out on the plastic. Then, work it onto your clean sensor, and make sure that you add enough to slightly OVERFILL it by just a little. There will not be any bubbles on your sensor as long as you’re careful to fill from the center out. Once you’ve done that, set your timer for what the product says. Then seat it into its position.Note: I could have added just a bit more, and so there’s a really tiny air pocket off in the corner which doesn’t affect my outcome, which works perfectly now. The video shows how the rain sensor does it’s job now that this gel is there.After finishing, feel the gel that you left on that baggie. It’s still gel like but it comes off easily and isn’t wet at all. This product is awesome - and my dealer, which has my SUV under a 3 month / 3K mile warranty will send me $100 for efforts too!

It does not stick to the windshield, so for my bmw E90 it was useless.
