Really like this light.The flashlight function isn't real bright, but enough for general use. The lantern function is more than bright enough. It has memory which is great.For 15 dollars this is a great deal.Light has been on my hip beside multi tool and is used every day at work.Also the 18650 included is marked 2200mah and I believe it's pretty close.UPDATE: flashlight died. Was under warranty and customer service was easy to deal with.

The media could not be loaded.  I liked the size and the fact it was magnetic. What I did not like was when you use it as a head lamp the LED’s are like flood lights so they shine down into your eyes making it super hard to see anything past arms length. It’s also not adjustable so that including the previous issue renders that function useless. Second, I used it outside both as a flash light then as a head lamp to get some work done as it was getting dark outside and the damn thing started flickering in between modes just by me walking. After a few minutes it turned off and I had to keep pressing the button until it turned on. Finished what I was doing and I go inside to mess with it and it just refused to turn on. The video clip is proof of this. And yes I charged the battery before I used it. Messed up within only a few minutes of use, I guess you get what you pay for. I will be returning this right away.

i have purchased many of these in the past most of them much more expensive than this solid const. all aluminum, head set is good quality very bright love the lithium battery it comes with. buying that seperate is ten bucks by itself!!

I bought this to try out, and if it didn't work for head gear, I'd use the cob light in my vest or such. My previous headlamp is 4 years old. I was looking for a cob light and found this headlamp. My old unit took two cells. This is one cell. It's not as bright, or as focused as my previous light. For me I needed the light to see work near me, or in front of me at night. This is perfect for that. Doesn't get nearly as hot as my last light. Included cells with light like this are usually a disappointment, lower capacities. I didn't try it yet. I used my existing 4ah cells with this light, and it lasted at least 6 hours. Good enough for me! I have more batteries. It's more compact, and light than my last one. I recommend it. One aspect I don't really like is that half pressing the on/of button cycles the modes of the light. Get a little annoying. Don't need the flashing light ever. I really dont need the flashlight on the end either. I'd like to see a cob only version of this. Just on or off. Maybe 2-3 brightness levels. All in all, very happy with it. Be sure to use plastic sleeve with the cells, ALWAYS. Tube of the the lights body is aluminum.

This is pretty awesome! Only thing I wasn't impressed by was the head attachment part.Three settings; front side bar, side bar flashing. Really strong lightings, the front light is a little over focused maybe.Battery options: rechargable 2200 ohm 3.7 v rechargable battery or regular holder for 3x AAA batteries.Headstrap: compared to the rest it's mundane, rubber circles attach the light to your head and straps allow you to adjust it to your head.

Bought seven of these for my co- workers and had one that was defective. The company quickly resolved the issue and now im going to buy one for myself. This light is great. The main reason i bought this particular model is because it is the only flashlight with a COB on its side with a pen clip; which makes it possible to clip it to the front of your shirt. This illuminates the area in front while keeping our hands free to write on our clipboards. I could find no other COB flashlight with this feature on amazon. The rechargeable battery (which is easily replaceable if it goes bad) is an added bonus. You can position the clip on either side of the light based on which direction you want the on/off button to face. It is super bright and my co- workers love the magnetic base and strobe light.I wish they also had a strobing red light feature, which would help people see my workers as they work at night. Overall my co workers are happy and so am i with the product and the customer service.

This flashlight has answered a key need in my work; a flashlight that is not only bright, but can double as a local work light. It didn't take long to become quite attached to it. I carry it with me clipped to my pocket while at work, and use it constantly. Imagine my disappointment when I dropped it, and the outside lamp got damaged in the fall. (It had fallen before, but this time it clipped the corner of a connection box, and didn't take it well. I was ready to buy another, willing to pay for repairs, either way. This was not a situation of failure, but of damage. The company is sending me a new one. Customer service above and beyond the call of duty! I am amazed and impressed!
