Warranty answers are a lie
Under EU law, consumers are offered a two-year guarantee in which sellers must repair or replace a faulty or not-fit-for-purpose item, but this right is trumped by the six-year warranty in the UK's own legislation. The right applies to any goods sold in the UK, so online retailers must also comply. Online marketplace Amazon and High Street retailers Currys, Argos, Richer Sounds and John Lewis were found to give misleading information by "mystery shoppers" sent by consumer group Which?. On 72 visits to shop-floor staff and 45 visits to talk to managers, many mystery shoppers were told that once a product is out of the manufacturer's own warranty, any repair would be chargeable. The shoppers, who visited stores across six electrical retailers, were also told by staff that "we don't actually have to do anything" once the product is outside of its guarantee period, typically lasting one or two years. Typically, sellers or manufacturers offer their own commercial guarantees, which promise to repair product if it is faulty. While most last at least one year, many shops try to persuade customers into buying costly warranties for electrical goods and appliances. Yet customers are entitled to have faulty goods replaced or repaired for up to six years, at no charge, which the retailer should carry out "within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience." If the seller doesn't repair or replace an item, customers can claim some money back on the original purchase price, minus an amount for the usage they have had of the goods. The rule covers a fault that was present when you bought the item, or a defect that occurs from a manufacturing problem rather than as the result of usual wear and tear. The seller (not the manufacturer) is responsible for the items, so the Sale of Goods Act applies to online and independent retailers, as well as High Street shops.

I have never attempted edibles because making butter sounds so daunting! This made it seem simple enough even I was finally willing to try. I received my infuser from Magical Butter via amazon and it came several days sooner than originally estimated, whooooooo!! I did a first batch using 28g of pretty good (stinky/sticky) flower with 2 cups of coconut oil. I opted to try oil first because the whole "clarifying" butter process seems like another potential step for me to f*** up so I figured I would start simple. I did run it for the 2 hour "butter" cycle instead of the 1 hour "oil" cycle. Oh and I of course first decarbed the flower in my oven with a thermometer which confirmed my oven has practically no thermal regulation! I kept it set at 200-210 because the actual temp consistently rose to around 240 and I was afraid for it to go too much higher. I kept an eye on that for 45 minutes, and meanwhile, i wiped down the infuser and washed out the filter really good - it smelled like plastic and had yucky fuzzies in it, so don't forget to turn it inside out and clean/rinse it really well!! I threw 2 cups melted coconut oil, 2 tablespoons of soy lecithin granules, and the decarbed (and cooled in the freezer) flowers into the infuser, hit 160 degrees, hit 2 hours, and watched it light up. It made no noise for awhile which made me nervous. Then eventually we heard the little blender go. I can't believe anyone would say that is loud - I found it to be so quiet I couldn't hear it from the next room over. I expected clean up to be a nightmare based on some reviews, my familiarity with coconut oil and melted butter, and further by the fact you can't use water or immersion to clean this thing - only a damp rag. I put wrapping paper over my island, had a big glass plate handy to set the top part on and I had a bunch of little silicone spoons and spatulas set out to really scoop and wipe all the oil into the filter and subsequent containers. When it beeped it was done I unplugged and set it on the island by all my supplies. I pulled the top unit (the "head") up but kept it over the pitcher and let oil drip for a minute while using a silicone (cake batter) spatula to help push any oil on the head elements into the pitcher. Then I set the head unit onto a glass plate where it continued to drip. I similarly used the spatula to push oil and herb that had collected up the sides all around the inside of the pitcher down into the mix. I set the filter in a glass pyrex bowl and then poured the oil in. The herb was kind of packed in the bottom, so I had the mister hold the filter so I could again use the silicone spatula to to wipe all the oil and the herb nicely into the filter and bowl. Then i just let the pitcher sit and cool while I kept working. The oil wasn't too hot to squeeze with the glove so I did it right away. We put the squeezed-out herb into another little glass pyrex storage container and we may try to use it for something. It was pretty crumbly - we were really able to get the oil out with the glove and filer. The glove and filter squeezing was also really easy, took minimal effort, and resulted in minimal mess. I washed the filter again right away really good with really hot water and soap, and turned it inside out to really get it good. Took a couple minutes of flipping it back and forth but I got it nice and clean for the next use. I set aside some oil for brownies and I used a funnel to pour the rest into a measuring glass, again using silicone spatula (my point is have these handy - they're amazing for this task!) to make sure i got as much as possible. I determined I got my two cups of oil back with no measurable loss! I switched gears at this point in clean up to start my brownies (I had already waited so long!!). I replaced the "vegetable oil" in the recipe with my magical oil and I also used my oily spatulas and the plate that was collecting oil to grease the brownie pan with all the drippings :) Once I got the brownies in the oven, I turned back to massive clean up. I used dry paper towels to initially wipe off the excess oil and dried herbs from the head unit and elements and also the inside of the pitcher - this removed most of it. Then I used a really hot damp rag to give it all another wipe down. Actually cleaned up way easier than I expected. The entire thing is back in the box and looks like brand new! Then I pulled up the wrapping paper I set down and it was like NOTHING HAPPENED! Other than my house smelling dank and delicious all night long!! This whole decarbing, infusing and baking process definitely resulted in my house smelling and I LOVED it! The brownies taste amazing with a hint of nutty coconut. So if you don't like that, then you want to stick with butter. But with this coconut oil, today I will try to make gummies!! My first impressions of the Magical Butter Infuser are this is the coolest thing I have bought in a long time! It opens doors for this gal who has no skills in the kitchen because it's so simple. Clean up is pretty breezy given the inherently messy ingredients you're working with. Should my impressions change, I'll check with Magical Butter first and share any helpful info about the experience. Happy New Year and Happy Infusing!

Ok I plugged it in and ran a cycle and everything works and I can’t wait to try it out. I will give my roommate a week of not destroying his air with my extractions Update: According to my roommate, it still stinks like weed and didn’t improve the quality of his air
