Spoons in a Case, Card Games

I picked this up because the kids still talk about playing this when they were younger. I got the giant one thinking it’ll be easier for the grandkids. They weren’t kidding when they said giant! I love the colors, nice and vibrant. The cards are whimsical, adding a fun edge to this fast paced game. I don’t think our four year olds are ready for this, but I bet our seven year old will have a blast learning this at Christmas. (It’s a gift).

This game is fast and fun for friends and family... adults and kids up to six people can play and scoring can be modified many ways to accommodate younger kids ...lots of laughs!

I was so excited that I found this game, having played it with adult friends with a deck of cards and kitchen spoons many years ago. I love that it comes with colorful oversized spoons to make it easier to just grab one spoon at a time. The spoons are about 9” long and cards are about 2 1/2” long. The face cards are a cartoon design and every suit’s ace card has an outline of a spoon. This is going to be so much fun to play with the kids! The card box has a website for how to play the game. It also comes with directions. Only hand out 4 cards to each player

This turned out to be a super fun game and the whole family enjoyed it. The ages ranged from 6yrs old to 72 yrs old and there was lots of laughter and loud reactions. It is super easy to pick up and pretty much any kid can play it and adults will love it. The only thing I’ll say is that you can play this game with a regular deck of cards and spoons. You don’t need to buy this set. But it has a nice travel case and the spoons are made from a durable plastic. We will probably play this game a bunch but odds are, when we travel, we will just bring a deck of cards and grab a handful of plastic spoons at whatever location we end up at. In fact, you can play with any items. It doesn’t have to be spoons. But spoons works well because of how the handle sits just off the table when laying flat so it makes for easy grabbing.
