I bought this dust collector in July. Worked beautifully - at first. I’ve only used it a few times. Yesterday I was going to use it and it started out really fast and loud then would cycle down to almost nothing, then kicked in again really high and loud, over and over. It’s September now. So it worked for 2 months or the few times I used it. I paid around $65 and it’s unusable. I’ve contacted the seller and am waiting to hear what they will do for me. I see the price has dropped to around $45 now. Maybe they’re having problems with this design. I will update this review if I hear from the seller.UPDATE: The seller got back to me and had me send a video of what the dust collector was doing. He agreed it was a faulty unit and refunded my money. So I will say they have great customer service. I've changed my review from 1 star to three stars because even though the customer service was great, I still got a faulty unit and had to go through the hassle of contacting the seller and waiting for a reply. Too bad because I thought it was a great machine when I first got it.

Update: I used it once and now it don’t work!!!I have only used mine once so far, but I researched dust collectors lot. I am so glad I didn’t spend a fortune on a different brand. This items is amazing

I don’t know what happened but I turned it on once and everything was great the sound was strong and you can tell the fan had suctionThe next time I turned it on to actually do my own nailsIt seemed to not even work no sound no suction just a faint sound of a nail scratching the chalk board and I tried to file for a replacement but I can’t because I do not have a credit card to enter into Amazon to replace it. I basically have to keep it to look nice on a table but not to work.

Re-ordered after returning first one that did not work. The new one seems to work good but have not use it with clients yet.

The media could not be loaded.  Not bad at all for the price i paid. I wish i would have bought this sooner. It collects most of the dust nicely. The filter is very easy to change and easy to clean. u think its not sucking in the dust because u don't see it. But when u clear the filter u realize how much it collected.

Sucks up about 80% of dust, and keeps my nail station and surrounding areas almost dust free. Great buy, way better price than the famous brands. Only con is way too much noise, have to talk super loud to hold conversations with clients.

Suction power not that strong but it does works it keeps the dust out of my face i recommend it if your a beginner at nail world.

This thing is loud like really really loud. I’m not sure if mines is defective or if it’s just that loud but it’s impossible to carry a conversation or anything while it’s on. I still find dust flying in my face but it does help keep it to a minimum
