UPDATE:I contacted the seller about the missing sockets and they immediately sent out a whole new set with case and everything. So now I have two sets!! Great customer service and a great product. Would recommend this product and TACKLIFE to anybody!!!I received this socket set today. And was immediately struck by the quality of these tools. They have a nice heft to them and the case is solid and as you can see in the picture, the top sockets snap in so they don't fall out. The bottom ones rest in there but they don't come out if the case is turned upside down while closed. If you are turning your case upside down when it's open and you are surprised that stuff falls out you probably shouldn't be working on things with these. The latches on the case are also very secure and latch in such a way that makes it so they will never open on there own, which is good if this thing is going to be bouncing around in your trunk.I bought these to replace an old crappy set I had that was missing sockets and had a case that didn't keep the sockets in place even when closed so I am very happy with this set.With all that said the kit I received had two 19mm and two 21mm instead of the 17mm and 18mm sockets, as you can see in the first picture. I contacted the seller about this and will update this review when I hear back from them and change it to 5 stars, which is what this product deserves.My other complaint is that the writing on the sockets is a little small which makes them hard to read in low light, like under a car or something, but that's not worth taking a star off. The case is clearly labelled so it's easy to find them that way. You can see the labels on the socket and the labels on the case in the pictures.TL;DR - Overall great socket set. I would recommend this set to anybody looking for a decent set of sockets. And the customer service from TACKLIFE is great.

***ORIGINAL REVIEW****This was my favorite set of wrenches, love the black, love the organization, even has extenders and that little swivel guy for getting to the hard-to-reach. However, the ratchet itself just exploded while I was trying to loosen a bolt on my wife’s calipers, probably the third time I’ve used that ratchet too... disappointingI’ll try to get in touch with the company about a replacement and hopefully have an update for you guys! Until then, maybe buy a nice ratchet separate from a socket set***********UPDATE**** They emailed me back about the issue, even sent a second email after I missed their first attempt and were quick to stand up for their product and recify the situation. Thank you very much to Jessica from their customer service. Also, since I'm updating, the rest of the socket set has held up well since the original review! from other's reviews it seems the broken ratchett was just a fluke. Thanks again

Fantastic set. I didn’t expect what I recieved. I expected a cheap harbor freight type set with a case that is so flimsy it unusable. This set is a very sturdy and high quality set in a sturdy case that looks like it will last. Assuming I can keep up with all the parts to this set I’m sure it will last a lifetime for a shade tree mechanic.

Very nice productUpdate,The wratchet actually fell apart after a few short months of weekend DIY work, see pics. I've attempted to contact them, email and left a vm, never responded. I had said I was going to hold off on an updated review, I guess they don't care.I may have gotten a bad wratchet I can't get anyt reply from anyone.I just wish they would have backed up their product.Another update:After a bunch of back and forth within the customer care they actually sent me an entire new set, I only needed the wratchet. So once again I am a happy camper.If you don't see another update that means I just got a bad wratchet the first time.

I Was looking for a set like this one, I have a lost craftsman set everything in different places some can't find anymore you know people get stuff and never put them back were they got them from, so seen this set I had to order one got it.The finish provides more resistant to corrosion, maintains a sharp appearance and better corrosion resistance for long time use. The laser etched size markings on each sockets make it easy to distinguish and select sockets Anyways got to say very very happy with this set nice and shiny sockets and all case not bad, I checked all sockets fit good on ratchet this will be a great present I really like it will have in my car would be nice to have one on each car.This sockets are build tough finally used them first time, this can take a beating will last a lifetime sockets built from a rock or something was amazed how they performed love them.

This is a great set for the price. I dropped one star for a couple issues. All the items on the bottom do not snap on, so if you open it up upside down, they all fall out, which is what I did. Now I double check it is right side up. I haven't ever owned a set where only half snapped in. They also were very greasy, so I had to remove every item and clean them off. They seem sturdy. The measurement are not etched in very well, so only time will tell how they hold up. The one button release ratchet is super nice. No more prying the end off. Having spark plug sockets is also very nice. People say they are impact rated, but aren't quite as thick as others I have seen, but they may be fine if you aren't doing anything too heavy duty.

Solid tools. Excellent quality and built well. I am very happy with this purchase.

I used these to take apart the lower control arms for my car as well as other jobs like ignition, exhaust, wheels, brakes, etc. They are still holding up VERY well. I keep them in a garage in florida and no rust what so ever. The only con i have has to do with the way the ratchet is put together. There are small screws holding a backing plate to the ratchet. These screws can come loose after some use and if they fall out, the ratchet falls apart. Make sure you tighten them every now and then and you should be fine. (maybe put locktight?)
