The Slimfold Men's Micro Soft Shell Wallet is a San Francisco-made, ultra-thin, RFID-blocking wallet crafted from abrasion-resistant, waterproof synthetic fabric originally designed for motorcycle gear. Weighing only 9 grams and measuring just 0.5mm thick, it securely holds up to 8 cards and unfolded bills from multiple currencies. ## Description

Originally created for motorcycle wear, the material was subjected to 70mph crash tests using real pavement during development. At less than .5mm thick, it has enough body to be substantial, yet adds virtually nothing to your load. This layout is based on the Tyvek "MICRO size" but the best construction methods from fabric and leather are applied. Since it can be cut without fraying, the integrated card slot design further contributes to the wallet being 2-3 times thinner than leather wallets. The wallet uses no animal products and is Bluesign certified for its earth-friendly material. Features hybrid ID slot/window with stitched plastic cover. Made in San Francisco. This version blocks RFID signals 13.56 MHz and above (The range found in ID cards, passports, and credit cards). Some building access cards are NOT blocked, which means you may still be able to get in and out of your work doors while still protecting your credit cards from having their digital information taken.

Review: Super thin and light, holds everything securely. Thinner full than my old wallet empty. - I have had this wallet for a couple weeks now and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I had a thin leather wallet previously and while it was thinner than most wallets it was too thick and if I had it in a back pocket it was uncomfortable to sit on. I tried a few other thin wallets and hated them and finally decided to try this one. Pros: 1) Super thin and light. When empty it almost weighs nothing. If you have a leather wallet the different pockets will take up space even when empty and the leather material is much thicker than this wallet. When this wallet's empty it weighs almost nothing and the material is paper thin. 2) Allows you to carry normal items securely. I tried a few other wallets and I was appalled at how the cards and cash were "secured". One of the wallets had a clip mechanism in the middle of the folding area to hold cash and I noticed it added bulk to the wallet and there were multiple complaints of it getting loose or breaking. I love the dedicated cash pocket on this wallet and that it's the perfect size for US currency. Some of the other wallets had the card openings facing outwards which doesn't make any sense to me. If the openings loosen, the card could come out and it would fall out in to your pocket or on the ground. With this wallet, the openings are towards the middle of the wallet. This means that if the card ever slips or slides out, there's nowhere to go when the wallet is folded in half. It just makes sense to do it like this and I am shocked so many other wallets are not designed like this. Cons: The only con for me on this wallet is the construction and appearance. Honestly, how often do people ever really pay attention to your wallet? I doubt very much, but this one does appear cheap and reminds me of the first wallet I had in middle school. I'm not sure how well this will hold up over the long term, but it doesn't seem super sturdy since it's so thin. Only time will tell, I don't think this is a big deal breaker. Overall, for the criteria important to me, this wallet is a 9.5/10.

Ich brauchte mehr Kartenfächer, das ist der Hauptgrund, warum ich es zurückgegeben habe. Und eine bessere Trennung zwischen den Fächern wäre besser. Die Größe war erstaunlich. Es war wirklich klein und fühlt sich viel besser an, das ist etwas Gutes und genau das, was sie vermarkten. Vielleicht etwas für jemanden, der weniger als 6 Karten mit sich führt. Ich weiß immer noch nicht, ob es den Preis wert ist.

I have had this wallet for a couple weeks now and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I was looking for a slim wallet for a hubby and done lot of reading about all types, including the metal one they keep advertising on social media. Also, I ordered 3 other wallets from Serman brand that were small, but leather, so by default a bit heavy and thick. They were wonderful and we almost kept one. But then the Micro Slim arrived and although at first looked like a joke, very thin, tiny thing, it turned out to be a winner. It is minimalistic, but comfortable. And it has an ID slot. All cards are easy to remove and regular dollar bills fit fine. It has a stretch to it so the cards just slide in easily. Only the cards you put all the way in the back are hard to remove so I keep health cards there. When I saw how well his cards fit, I immediately ordered one for myself. So far, I carried typical leather large ladies wallet. I did not think this micro wallet will be able to satisfy me. But in the past week, it has lightened my load considerably and I can put it in my pocket and not even carry a purse to store. Everytime I whip it out, I feel a bit silly because it looks so basic, a bit boring and not at all feminine but it is truly brilliant. Now I wish they had more interesting fabric colors because our wallets are identical, small grey squares.
