Believe me, I'm of above average IQ, but the instructions are unintelligible. Here is an example:"ARM/DISARM: Make sure the Alarm unit is switched on [not sure how you do that, as there is no on/off switch]. Now, short press the ARM button once. A beep will be heard and the visual indicator will light up once when the unit is armed, and input the 4 digit correct code, 2 beeps will be heard and the visual indicator will light up twice if the unit is disarmed"It's gobbledegook to me.Another example:"First preparation of the alarm unitRemove the back cover, take out the 2 AAA batteries and the insulating strip in the Alarm unit and close the lid."Well, if you did that the alarm unit would not work. I will leave you to work out why.So I disobeyed the instructions and re-inserted the batteries but I'm still trying to get the thing to work.

Bought this as I thought it would be a simple solution to my need of a basic alarm system. Unfortunately the PIR sensor works really sporadically (couldn’t trust it to work in the event of an actual break in) so had to send back. Also, there is no entry delay, just an exit delay. Yes there is the remote to disarm it before entry, but the existence of a manual keypad is somewhat pointless unless your only intention is to always use the remote or when you’re using the alarm while at home. Not suitable for my needs but might suit someone else. Would have been 3-4 stars if the PIR sensor had worked.

I don't think I am completely thick but I am unable to get the product to work in any useful way as advertized. Even if this is user error I have read and followed the instructions to the letter and to be honest if I can't get it to work at the next attempt I will be returning it. A burglar alarm that cant be made to work surely can't have more than one star.

It arrived and we installed it and one of the contact alarm parts didn’t work so have contacted the company and three weeks on I’m still awaiting a replacement. The plastic ring that holds it to your keys is already broken a month in and very temperamental with the key fog actually activating the alarm. Will not he buying again as it’s been a waste of our time

This is a brilliant little alarm and would suit a flat or small dwelling. This works straight out of the box, no wiring needed or fiddling about.Unfortunately, I am having to return mine. I would recommend unless you know what you are doing, and I don't, do not alter the settings or change it to factory settings. I tried to change the pin number and it all went downhill from there. The manual is easy to read and nicely set out. Do take the time to read before changing settings.

Bought this system to secure our property and to be honest now I feel more safe at home,we did tested system few times and it is very loud,so even my neibours asked what's going on,so I know now for sure if something happened all the attention will be on our house.The huge benefit of this system that you don't need to be professional to install it,very easy to install for even laddies.So I would definitely recommend to all my friends,cos unfortunately we live such in not quite time.

Not been able to use it yet because for some reason, the units are not pairing despite all efforts and followed instructions completely.. The individual lights (i, ii, iii, iv) do not light up separately so unable to pair. Quite frustrating but still trying.

I was surprised how easy it was to install. Very good product and very effective. This is a must to have in your house it brings a piece of mind when you has these guarding your house. Easy to install no whole heap of wires and drilling, highly recommended. Very happy with my purchase!
