Does this work for groundhogs or woodchucks?

One of the items that you will find in hardware stores and gardening stores to deal with groundhogs is the range of audio repellents that are said to drive these animals away from your yard or garden. The way these devices claim to work is that they emit a sound that is outside of the human hearing range, but that is within the hearing range of animals, and this sound is said to be very irritating so that it will drive the animals away from the area. The reality is that while groundhogs may find the noise uncomfortable, if they have already dug a burrow and have access to food sources in the yard or garden, a noisy neighbor such as this device is unlikely to be successful in driving the animals away.

I want to keep our dog off the porch (eats packages). Got something that would alarm when she tries to come on the porch?

The sonic alarm definitely let both ( you and her) know that something is going on. You can use even ultrasonic sound, but I recommend switch the ultrasonic frequency every 2nd day to avoid adapting. By night I recommend setting #5 mix ultrasonic frequency and strong strobe light or just leave the alarm sound, depends on your neighbor, I guess.

Does this keep pigeons away?

can this be hardwired into my 12V landscape lighting cable? we have a shade garden where solar power really doesn't work.

Hi, don't forget it have rechargeable baterrries and when constantly plug in it loose a power much more quickly. Without batteries it will not work the plug in is for recharge only.
