Absolutely beautiful!In Europe (well, many countries anyway) for Christmas, everyone has a star in the window and as you go down the street it’s magical. I got 2 from Germany but without the cord not knowing I can get them here.I am sooo trilled to have it!

I wanted a Christmas star to put in my window. When I got this, first thing I noticed was how compactly it folds up for storage (always a plus). The other thing though is that during the pandemic I've been using delivery services for food and in my subdivision it's harder to tell houses apart. I just leave the star in the window and there is a note on my delivery instructions to look for the start. I turn the star on when I expect a food delivery and they've not had problems since.

This product is very flimsy and really is a light bulb on a cord with a paper product that barely expands and can't be fixed to the lightbulb. I think it would be better to get your own lightbulb on a cord and then have one of your kids bunch some designs out on a piece of paper and put it on that for a little while until it too gets too burnt or bent to use. I don't think this product is safe to use or sell.

These are great, but came without specific instructions. Luckily they aren't my first light stars, so no problem for me. But for your first time putting them together, screw in the lightbulb first, then make a cage around it with the clear plastic gadget by putting the arrow shaped corners in the slits, thus creating a caging around the light bulbs. Then put the cage inside the stars and gently tightening the strings in a double knot. They are fragile so be gentle. By putting your hand inside each triangle and gently hollowing it first, then open it to a full star is also required. Good luck! They are sooo worth the work! Absolutely stunning!

It was advertised that a cord came with the lantern. I did not get a cord.

The star is nice but the directions are very poor! There is a plastic “cage”(?) that I had no clue what to do with until I read another readers review. I still don’t know if I put the cage together properly but it seems to hang nicely in my kitchen window. I used a 40 watt LED bulb so that it doesn’t get hot.
