The DCS-2802KT perfectly fits my needs. It allows me to keep an eye on the backyard with the camera installed outdoor and also on the living room without the hassle of cables. Pros: - Cameras are tiny and discreet looking. I really like that they are not invasive at all. - Installing the kit is very easy and the guided procedure allows you to redeem the free premium cloud recording subscription of 1 year right at its end. - Battery life seems to be extremely good as they ran out only of a few percentage points in days of occasional views through both cameras. With 24/7 video stream things may be different but with a reasonable use, batteries will be lasting more than enough. The app allows you to check the percentage available for each camera. - PIR motion detection using infrared is extremely accurate and much more efficient than image processing done by most of IP cameras. This also contributes to the long lasting battery. - The connection between cameras and the hub is always stable and reliable even with thick walls in between. - Video resolution can be set at 1080p or 720p. Video quality is definitely good and comparable to a cabled IP camera. - Having the 2 way audio, night vision and also a siren built into the hub is a nice touch. Cons: - The hub needs to be plugged in the router with an ethernet cable so they will have to be close to each other. - Nothing else relevant to mention

I had this item for about 4 month and tried to get along with it... however I lost and ended up returning the item. Don’t get me wrong the image quality and ease of set up is good, however the app could be a bit easier. The battery life of the cameras are terrible and the range from the system hub is not very good. I was having to charge every couple of week, even in a not busy area. The camera only record motion detection however is liable to miss some bits. Returned and refunded and now gone for a wired alternative. Not for me thanks

Have to reset the system every month or so as all cameras lose connection and stop working, also it takes a long time to connect to view live footage. Good quality recordings and good motion sensor just not worth the price due to the connectivity problems

Looks and feels like a quality product but the camera battery in one camera is lasting only 1 week. The battery in the other camera lasting slightly longer but both are falling well short of the advertised battery life, which is supposed to be months on a single charge. As far as I know the cameras are sealed units and so the batteries can't be replaced without changing the camera. I am in the process of corresponding with D-Link customer via their portal support but other than allocating a case number I don't have any resolution yet. If there is no resolution I will be returning the product.

Purchased this 2-camera kit to cover the driveway and back garden. Especially with the way crime rates are like in London these days. A neighbour used his to catch a parcel-thief who turned out to be someone from the local area. Both cameras are wireless and are IP65 means they are dust and splash resistant i.e can used outside even if in the rain. Setup was easy, and the mounting system is really intelligent. Although we attached it to the back wall, the mounting system is such that if we wanted to attach it to a tree and have the camera facing the backdoor instead we could have. The image quality is great, 1080p FullHD, and it has night-vision as well so perfect for 24-hour use. There is local storage options like microsd or a USB port, and it comes with a free 1 year subscription to cloud based storage as well. There is also a fun little feature with the 2 way camera audio; you can use it to hear noise near the camera but also you can use the app to speak out of the camera. It's useful if you're in the bathroom and want to ask a delivery person to wait a second before they run off, or in general to tell unsolicited salespeople that you are not interested without having to even leave your couch! My neighbour recommended me this product, and in turn I pass the recommendation on. Great home surveillance set-up!

I wanted the camera to use as a doggie cam, so I could check up on my puppy whilst I’m out, however, it is so much more than that. It comes with two camera’s so I put one in the living room and one outside pointing at the cars for security. It is really easy to set up, mine was up and running within minutes and I’m not that great with technology. The app was easy to find and simple enough to use, it has lots of additional features such as alarms when motion is detected, etc. The free cloud recording for a year is great if you want to watch back on the area you are recording and will be the perfect tool if anything happens to my cars, it’s a great additional bonus I didn’t expect! The picture quality is extremely good, very sharp and clear. The night vision works wonders so I check on my pup in the dark. The microphone is also clear and I can regularly interact with my puppy or anyone else who is at home when I’m out and about. Additionally the app even works on 3/4G so doesn’t even need WiFi connection! Overall a great buy! Would recommend to anyone wanting to keep an eye on their home for one reason or another!

1. Battery life. Bought the product 2 weeks ago and it went 50% and when reach 40% you can’t access live view anymore and need to be charged again. But the good thing it will still continue to record video. Update: battery life is horrible! Other camera needs to be charge weekly and the other one is one week and few days! 2. Great value but for the money if it will give notification with thumbnails like my other dlink cameras (i have loads) 3. Appearance is magnificent! I love it! 4. Regarding quality, I’m still waiting to sort out with the customer service some hiccups like i can’t access the setting to customize it. Update: they did not resolve the problem, instead they want me to return it to the seller and it’s not the sellers fault, it’s their product that is not working properly. 5. Regarding to performance of dlink camera, I am always empress, but on this one, I’m still hoping that, it will be better more. Update: it did not becomes better. Always battery empty. 6. The company that selling this product is very responsive, I received a faulty one and replace it urgently! 👏🏼👏🏼 Update: don’t blame the sellers about the product shortcomings, it’s not their fault, if you want to buy Dlink cameras, but the wired one, not the wireless. It’s far more better.

I’d been looking around for a camera set up for my 3 bed home for a while. The flexibility of using the camera indoors and outdoors really appealed for me as I could save on the cost of additional cameras and cover my driveway and the inside of my house with one kit. The system was very simple and easy to set up, I was up and running in 2 minutes and the app is great to use. The footage quality is crystal clear and the built in siren is a great little feature. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I also get free clouding recording for 1 year – saving me another £45. I’m really happy with this kit and would definitely recommend it.

Bei dem Kameraset handelt es sich um das „mydlink™ Pro Wire Free Camera Kit DCS 2802KT EU“ Set. Hauptbestandteil des Pakets sind zwei Kameras und die Verbindungsstation (Hub). Es handelt sich um ein ziemlich hochwertiges Kameraset, mit vielen Funktionen. Die für mich wichtigsten Funktionen sind die kabellose Verbindung und die Steuerungsmöglichkeit per App (auch von unterwegs), sowie die Nachtsichtfunktion, damit die Kamera auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen aufnehmen kann. Diese Funktionen sind für den Einsatzbereich – Überwachung der Kellertür und des Gartens – wichtig. Die Kamera wirkt hochwertig und sieht super aus. Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten sie an der Wand festzuschrauben – entweder per Wand-Halterung am Stativ (leider nur ein Wand-Stativ im Umfang enthalten) oder per Magnet-Halterung. Beide Möglichkeiten sehen sehr stylisch aus und sind gut konstruiert. Super an dem Kamera-Set ist die leichte Einrichtung. Diese ist wirklich kinderleicht und von jedem der eine App runterladen kann und weiß was ein Router ist, zu bewerkstelligen. Es dauert keine 5 Minuten und die Kamera läuft. App runterladen, QR-Code scannen und schon wird man durch die Installation geführt. Nach wenigen Minuten kann man auf der App schon sehen, was die Kamera aufzeichnet. Hingegen ist der Funktionsumfang der App recht groß (die Kamera kann auch sehr viel) und bis man mit allen Funktionen vertraut ist, dauert es ein wenig. Das komplizierte ist also nicht das Einrichten, sonder eher das Einstellen und Konfigurieren der ganzen Optionen. Die App hat aber ein gutes Design und vieles ist selbsterklärend. Dennoch benötigt es etwas Zeit und ein „hineinfuchsen“. Leider gibt es keine Beschreibung auf deutsch, sondern nur auf Englisch. Mit der Beschreibung und etwas Ausprobieren ist die Feineinstellung der ganzen Funktionen jedoch gut zu bewerkstelligen. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen ist meiner Ansicht nach hervorragend und auch bei Nachtaufnahmen gut. Design und Halterung sind super, die Kamera und die App bieten viele Funktionen und eine bequeme Steuerung aus der Ferne. Die Aufnahmen können entweder in der Cloud, oder lokal (SD-Karte, Festplatte) gespeichert werden und man kann sich die einzelnen Sequenzen anschauen. Ein Punkt den man bedenken muss, ist die Notwendigkeit von Internet sowie den Abstand zwischen der Kamera und dem WLAN-Gerät. Je größer dort die Entfernung ist, desto schlechter wird die Live-Übertragung. Das könnte bei dicken Wänden oder einen größeren Entfernung zum Problem werden. Hier kann man wahrscheinlich keine pauschale Aussage über die Reichweite treffen, sondern diese hängt von den jeweiligen Bedingungen ab, und man muss es letztendlich einfach ausprobieren. Aufgrund der genannten Eigenschaften finde ich, dass sich die Kamera sehr gut für die Haustürüberwachung, die Gartenüberwachung oder die Überwachung in Innenräumen eignet, also alles Situationen, in denen der Hub in der Nähe ist. Hier kann die Kamera ihre Stärken (sehr gute Bildqualität, viele Funktionen der App, lange Akkulaufzeit) super ausspielen. Insgesamt finde ich es ein sehr wertiges Produkt, mit einem wirklich ansprechendem Design, einer super Bildqualität, vielen Funktionen und einer kinderleichten Einrichtung, dass ich vor diesem Hintergrund empfehlen kann. Einzig zu bedenken ist die Einarbeitungszeit für die vollumfängliche Nutzung der App und die Reichweite der Übertragung, welche individuell getestet werden muss.

La Sincronización de las camaras con el Hub es un sufrimiento, hay que intentarlo muchas veces. La app Mydlink se cuelga constantemente. Hay que detenerla y volver a reiniciarla cada vez que quieres ver algo. Con suerte puedes ver en el móvil las imágenes de las Cámaras si tienes Wifi disponible. Si estás en la calle y solo tienes Datos 4G, olvidate, las cámaras se cuelgan y no puedes ver nada.
