We actually tried a couple different barstools for our new kitchen island area. My husband is 6 ft. tall and I'm 5'2" so we discovered there were some issues with that. He needed a seat that was deeper and I liked the one that fit me perfectly! We settled on this one when I discovered that I could put a chair pad against the back and now it's quite comfy and I love it, and my husband loves it without the pad! It's perfect for everyone. It's very modern looking and goes with my stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. It swivels great, has a perfect rail for your feet to prop up on. And the metal part of the armrests sits below the island so it won't scratch or chip your island! These were all things we researched when trying to find the perfect barstool! It is also much sturdier with four legs than the ones with just one pole in the middle. I highly recommend this chair. We bought four for our island and will be ordering the higher ones for our bar area when we get that completed!

I was looking for a nicely-designed stool that would compliment my kitchen island and also provide seating for guests on occasions when needed. This fits the bill nicely and at a good price point. Attaching the seat to the base was unexpectedly difficult - I felt like I needed a drink when I was done, and I'm not a drinker. The legs on my stool are apparently uneven because the stool wobbles a bit no matter where I place it. Not the end of the world and I'll figure out a way to correct it, but yes- it's annoying. I wish I could say it's comfy, but I cannot- not a big issue for me because I don't plan on sitting there for long periods of time. It does have a nice large seat so I expect it will accommodate people of all sizes without a problem. The height of the stool is also perfect for a kitchen island.For me, form was more important than function- it looks really nice and I'm satisfied. For someone planning to perch at the kitchen counter for extended periods of time, maybe not the best choice.

These stools looked the part and I was very pleased when I got them delivered and assembled. They did seem a bit flimsy when I first sat in them but after a year plus of use, that is a non issue. The padding in the seats starts out extremely firm and took quite a while to break in and not to feel like you were sitting on a plank. That has resolved as well though. The one issue that persists is the design of the feet. The plastic inserts constantly fail and need to be replaced. The replacements fail just as quickly. When they fail, you can hear an awful metal on tile scratching sound as you move them across the floor. What prompted this review is the pack of 20 replacement feet I bought just ran out... Very comfortable chairs, however the bases on all 3 of my chairs welding that holds the chair to the base has broke. The first chair they sent me a new base, as it had only been 30 days, now they all are breaking and I only had them for 6 months. It says that they hold 250 lbs and there is no one that weighs over 150 lbs in the house. Even though I love the chairs, they are super comfortable, I unfortunately would not recommend!

I bought these barstools looking for something a little more sturdy and comfortable than my previous smaller white ones that had adjustable heights. I am soooo much happier with these. All of my guests and roommates have found them to be comfortable to sit in and they go beautifully with all of my brushed stainless steel. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I don't like to spend this much money on bar stools, but they were a perfect fit. I highly recommend them! I didn't rate ease of assembly, because my roommates put them together, but they didn't mention having any issues putting them together. To be safe, my roommates added felt sliders to the bottom of the bar stool feet, but it's quite possible they would have been fine without adding the extra padding - it was just an extra precaution to protect my wooden floors.

These counter stools are well made and packaged up well. However, the dimensions are wrong. The actual overall height of the stool is 35.5 inches. I purchased these thinking that the posted 33.8 inches would fit underneath my bar, out of the way, but they don't. I believe someone else had this problem as well....You need to change the dimensions, Armen/Amazon. You will get a lot of customers returning them.

I looked online for MONTHS for the perfect bar stools for our counter height newly renovated kitchen. These are absolutely perfect, and a bonus = THEY SWIVEL! They were easy to assemble and love the thickness and sturdiness of them. These are not cheap chairs. Super great quality, durable, solid base, evenly balanced legs.The only thing I don't like is some of the PVC leather is wrinkled in some spots where they pulled it to stretch it. You can see this on all the chairs on the top arm part. I would have sent them back, but my husband wanted to keep them, despite this flaw. And this is a dense cushion, so not the most comfortable. But they are stunning, solid, heavy chairs!

These chairs are visually appealing and very easy to assemble. The downside is that the base may rock and tip over if you’re not very careful. They are fairly comfortable and compared to the ones we looked at in high-end furniture stores that were similar I feel like we made a good purchase. I looked at items that were similar to this that had sturdier bottoms but we’re $700ea. I Purchased six of these and everyone seems to love them. Not recommended for small children as I do believe they will tip over if you move around too much.
