And whereas you're using individually addressable pixels you will not be able to get each address assigned correctly using this device you will need a pixel controller. Just do an Amazon search and you'll see a bunch of them come up there are different prices for different features you can get some for $10 or you could spend $300 it depends on what you're looking for personally I had a very bad experience with this device I wound up having to send it back because of a major malfunction within the circuitry. In manual mode yes you can fade to black, there is a fade time adjustment in the auto run but I haven't messed with it. If your Stage light set up is DMX addressable the answer is, Yes it will work provided you are addressed properly. Be sure to address you fixtures and program you scenes for the function you want. Lights that have different functions need to be separated in the addressing/Scenes . I hope this makes sense.
