Wilton Pink Candy Melts, 340g (12oz)

My child’s school holds a Christmas fair each year and I had seen via Pinterest a way to create Christmas trees from chocolate this product was great in creating a brilliant visual effect quickly and cheaply on top of cupcakes.

Do not use these. I should have read the reviews first. I followed the instructions with 2 batches in case I'd made a mistake with the first time but no, these do not melt! It just turns into a clay-like clump, not liquid at all. I've used other brands that are far better.

The mixture gets quite thick when it cools sightly. (I still used it by applying with a spoon and finger it took some of the balls off the stick after i dipped the sticks in and cooled because it was that thick. I was thinking to add oil but didnt. This time around im gunna add oil to thin it out before i start to dip and hopefully that works..i dont taste like white chocolate..its more of a vanilla creamy thick taste..and much sweeter than chocolate. They tasted very good still. If using for cake pops and using a pre mix i wouldn't use a cheap version as the lack of taste comes through. I managed to save mine thanks to the icing and these candy melts

Lovely colour for my cake pops! Whenever I want to melt chocolate, I just put in microwave full power for a minute or two. However, these candy melts weren’t that easy to melt. We followed instructions but it tuned the consistency of clay!! In the end , I melted some white chocolate as added some candy melts a few at a time and melted them that way.

Candy melts are always expensive but great to use when baking. Tastes great and can use them easily

Nothing to dislike. Good to find them as hobby craft stopped doing them.

As soon as I melt these they go hard and crusty.

Good value - easy melt- comparable to other brands

Spend a bit more and buy the Ghirardelli melts. These seize up in the microwave and doesn't melt in the Wilton melter. Ghirardelli tastes much better too. It's just easier to work with. I've wasted time and money trying Wilton's.

Toller Geschmack, leicht zu Verteilen und gute Deckkraft. Meine Tochter hatte trotz Hinweis auf der Packung keine Anzeichen von Hyperaktivität von ihrem Geburtstagskuchen ;) der ganz normale Wahnsinn sozusagen! Ich habe ausserdem von Picke*d rosa Glasur mit Himbeergeschmack gekauft (zum Vergleich) und muss sagen das diese hier wesentlich besser war von der Konsistenz und auch vom Geschmack her ( die andere lief ständig vom Kuchen und schmeckte sehr künstlich penetrant nach Himbeeren). Ich denke wenn man sie nicht jeden Tag isst, ist das vollkommen i.O. Für alle die einen rosa Prinzessinnen Kuchen wollen - perfekt!
