Parker Sonnet Rollerball Pen | Matte Black Lacquer with Gold Trim | Fine Point Black Ink | Gift Box

What a beautiful pen! I bought the black matte with gold trim. The pen is not only gorgeous to look at, it is also a pleasure to write with. The writing is fine and the ink is good, it didn’t smudge or bleed through my 120gram bullet journal (STM). The weight feels good and comfortable to use. I had originally bought the Waterman Expert in red, which is a beautiful pen but as you can see in the pictures, is a bit thicker than the Parker and longer too. I found the Parker the preferred option for me. I also found the fine ink from the Parker, slightly finer than the waterman. I do a lot of writing and this is my first pen costing more than £10! I feel it is worth it’s price and I’ve bought it on offer.

Beautiful looking, correctly weighted and well-balanced pen. The Fine Point Black refill has thin lines (0.5mm?). The ink flow is excellent, and dries quickly. One can write on thin (70gsm paper) without completely showing through. But the point is a little scratchy. The advertised box for the pen was supplied, making the item presentable as a gift. Phew! Parker Sonnet is an elegant shape, and this item looks like a pen. At Black Friday price, the user is very pleased!

Expensive but probably worth it. Really wanted a Schaeffer but Amazon will not deliver these to the lockers

When I pay £80 for a pen I expect it to work out the box, the refill was bone dry, had to go and buy a refill before using

Good price for a beautiful pen, though the packaging left me wondering if this was a used and returned product. The pen itself appears flawless. No papers in the box, which was weird for a luxury product.

Present for one of my sons. He loves it. Writes beautifully. Perfect pen.
